I was at Clothing Fair earlier for hours helping Digit set up, and for some reason that gave me no lag at all, it was amazing, I totaly strolled through 3 of the four sims with ease.

I did lots of shopping, but wanted to show you some dollarbie and freebie things I got, coz they rock a doodle.

Devilish Cupcake has a booth there, and in the entrance there are three nice sized boxes loaded with goodies shown here.

Now each box has not just pink items in them, oh noooo there are a multitude of fabulous colours. I adore all these sets on the left you have the Celeste set, the one next to that is the No Nonsense set, and then you have the fabulously bright and so 80’s Fleuro Jelly Belly set , they are like all Devilish Cupcake items extremely pretty and fun to wear.

But today I was going with a theme, because if you find Beckenbauer Productions booth ( same sim I think, seriously no lag I had no clue i did autumn at all, was in summer then winter and had done autumn was awesome) inside Beckenbauer booth there is a small black podium, and on top is a small pink and black shoe box.

For 0L you get these incredible Pink Ribbon Oi boots, and I have a pair similar from this store that I adore bunches already, but these you will notice have the wonderful pink ribbon displayed on the side, and I personaly think thats fantastic.

Now I looked around to see what Feri had as his RFL Vendor item, there are soooo many incredible ones at the fair…and even though there isnt one in his vendor rest assured Beckenbauer Productions is donating a percentage of ALL sales during the event, which is just so much like Feri , he is an ANGEL ( who just happens to look naughty).

I know there are probably bunches of other great freebies/dollarbies around the fair, but this was just a taste and remember you can always make donations as you roam around…lots of kiosks about ready to accept your generosity.

seriously though also people are wearing wayyyyy too many prims so texture clothes and low prim hair and minimal attachments is the way to go :o)

First off, thank you Nyla for being Cheeky by name and nature.

Babyboo Glitterbuck of Here Comes Trouble, doesn’t just make incredibly stunning hair, but she on occasion produces some awesome clothing that tends to lean towards fun and fanciful sets.

What she always tries to do with them, is create pieces that mix and match with other sets, so that they dont only have costume/theme uses.

This is Instinct one of a huge release she did this week. first off the boots are just amazing, seriously can you not see yourself running and skidding along some freshly polished floor in those-lol.

Not only do I adore the fluffy sides and bases, but the detailing to give them a real moccason look is incredible, I am also well chuffed that I didnt even need to change into my boot shape for them.

Boo has taken a lot of care to make this set revealing without being too much so, by adding cute little pasties, so that you can wear the claw breast plate – Beware if your Silicon Enhanced those claws may puncture . All the other prim attachments are equaly divine but OMG that skirt, its so Gorgeous, seriously if you dont do RP or Costumes you have to get this set just for that piece of heaven.

The fit was perfect, which is kind of funny if you have seen Boo and then look at my shape, they are so different ends of the height spectrum, but again Perfecttttttt. The fabric is like hair or fur or silk or whatever you want it to be, its FANTABULASTICAL! anything you do in this skirt is going to look hot, whether dancing, walking or just standing still, and the asymetrical style of it means it would look superb over another skirt (texture based) for a sash like look.

Me LOVES LOVES LOVES, the hair is Pysa also by Babyboo and at Here Comes Trouble, and as you know I love her hair and this combed back retro style is Yummy.

Dont even bother reading this part, just seriously get over to HCT and check out these new releases NOW “waves”

You may have seen the big post that Vivianne Draper did on the Dublin St Patricks Day Hunt, thats running this weekend on the 3 Dublin Sims, believe me there is so much more than the hunt going on.

I was given the items from the hunt so that you will get an idea of what is on offer, and they are Yummy, plus there is a Cash Prize up for grabs too, but read about all that on Viv’s site HERE .

Now the next three items in the hunt are the Ookami Ningen Parasol and Wings set, as well as the DDMDI (Devil Made Me Do It ) Soda Pop Candy Shoes in St Paddys Lemon and Lime, DDMDI does incredible Prim work on all their fetish boots and shoes and these are no exception, you get the open toed and closed toed in the prizes and they are a fabulous style with incredible detail.

The Hula hoop and yes its scripted lol is another of the cute prizes called the P.S.Y.C.H.O Hula Hoop.
This is for the Men, but I wanted to show how great it looks on girls too, the suit is the Charcoal Yellow Suit again by Kaimi’s, and this designer goes all out with the extras.

Look, also you get shoes, yes made of texture but they are still cute for the look to begin with, and socks and tshirt for underneath, and WOOOHOO Boxers that are sooo cool.
This is the Kaimi’s Red Lace Dress, and again extra’s you will love, not one but three pairs of lace gloves, teh beautiful Gown itself and the lingerie pieces as well, just heavenly.

Again another Male Prize is the Tartan Gentleman Outfit 4 Menzies Tartan Ascot, by the Tartan Shop, this is such a Posh outfit for men I loves it, I so need some Irish Setters now and a Pipe, oooo darnit I own a pipe too *pouts* . The whole look is great and the ascot an collar are prim so you can move them around for your shape.

Now all of those items are in the bigger prize as well as the following, but the following you can get by answering ONE question for the hunt only ONE woohoo.

These next three pieces are all again from Kaimi’s store, and again you get pieces you dont expect, the boxers extension with the celtic tshirt is fun, the jeans in the next set even have socks under so you dont get that yucky skin look with flare..and the starburst tanks are in both female and make styles.

Hee Hee I am going to get in trouble for that heading I know it, but there is a reason, and she already knows it.

Aleri Darkes of Diversity Hair just released some fab new clothes in her Boutique inside her store. and for about 12 more hours one set will be 75% off.

Indira is a wonderful skirt and top set, I adore the tiered skirts that has been made with a waistband so that you can wear it seperately with other items.

Aleri has put a lot of thought into the layers of this too, as the top is made on the jacket layer for length, but would mean on those cool nights you wouldnt normaly be able to wear a nice cardi or shrug, well she compensated for that by making the top also on the shirt layer and the length on the underpants layer.

Which also means if you like some coverage, but only seem to be able to find low slung jeans or pants thats covered also, when wanting to wear the top seperate.

The other great thing and naughty Aleri hee hee this is why, took her vendor pics without showing you that you not only get one top but two, yes you get not only the contrast top that goes so well with the skirt…but you also get the plain top.

I know in some cases knowing that is important, as it could be the deciding factor on purchasing an item. The tops in this set either with or without the band are gorgeous, the depth of colours and the shading I love, especialy that red one.

The length of the tiered skirt is also very pretty and has a lovely movement to it..these are definitely mix and match pieces you will get lots of wear out of this coming spring. The hair in the pictures is also by Aleri at Diversity Hair, and is called Elina, its a lovely medium style and has an vintagey look to it, very very pretty for day or night.

The skin is Michelle by Damiani in the Emerald Oasis Make-Up, Sophisticated tone..I liked the softness of this overall with this pretty girly girl look. The shoes are by Aphrodite Creations and are all from the Vintish collections , love love love the vintage shape to the toes in these, again very ladylike and charming for days in the sunshine and well into the night.

The other day I got an IM from SySy Chapman of Sy Designs. Now of course being in 40 IMs at once I totaly confused the poor girl when all she did was ask me a simple question – I do tend to do that lol.

Anyway in the end she was lovely enough to send me some items I liked the look of, and I tend to go for older to Newer, especialy when showing a Designer for the first time. It’s kind of like my little time line of their store, plus everything Old is New to someone.

When I came to Second Life it was to Salsa, when I got here all I wanted to do was live in the water.

Its actualy shocking that on two islands I have lived on, I have lived in the sky :o(. I often say if I had lots and lots of money to spare I would buy an island and sink it, but I have actualy been to a store that was underwater and it kind of makes everything blue :oP- funny that.

I knew there were Mermaids in SL, and for the longest time, nearly a year since I came face to fin with my first one, I have held back; knowing that I would get carrried away by it all and want to stay that way for good…and it would be very complicated working as a fish out of water.
During Another Fundraiser though I saw Qeue the owner of Analog Dog and she was a Mermaid, and seemed to be very content swimming about out of water, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days.

I finally got up the courage to IM her, and asked all the silly questions, she was so helpful and off I ran to get myself the most important thing a Mermaid needs.

A Mermaid AO, ok this was such a bizarre concept to me, as I hadnt even thought that far ahead, I dont know what I thought they did to get around other than swam, but I was so wrong.

Merwings this tiny little shack on a pier has not only single poses for Mermaids and MerMen, but also a full AO already set up for you….too much thinking involved to buy them seperately as I was really new to the whole thing, so AO it was……OMG its too cool.

Not only does it replace your walks with swims, but you have all these neat hovery things instead of stands…BUT my all time favourite part is the fall OMG you so have to go and check out the poses and animations and find the fall, its the coolest thing, if it was copy it would so live in my regular AO as well- ooo I might just have to go back and get it single.

There was a bunch of Mermaid tails in Merwings too, but Qeue sent me to another store that had an abundance of Mermaid creators in one place, up and down I went enthralled by the selections, but nothing really did it for me…I did get one set and was kind of ah well ok its niiice but hmmm.

Then my dreams were answered because another girl I knew that is also a Mermaid IM’d me, and she said that Bare Rose had Mermaid sets OMG HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS!. I Tp’d over and do you think I could find them noooooo, do you think Tori was online Noooooo- lol – So I left a super duper emergency offline for her and when she came on WOOOOSH two incredible Mermaid sets made it to my inventory.

I have been dieing to share these with you, and today was the perfect day because I had been pining over some hair all week I saw in an ad in fash con, and even though I had my suspicions it was from Analog Dog, Jaydie was going to confirm for me; as her friend has the same hair.

Confirmation in and I zoomed over to land up to my ankles in water , Qeue has turned her store into Mermaid Paradise…this might not be news to anyone but me, but I havent been there in a while. I tried on three styles that I thought were it and finally decided on Astrid, which I think even though it wont stop moving, is just divine …thing is I personally think that Qeue designs her hair with herself and other Mermaids in mind so the movement is needed for all that swimming.

Whatever it does and whoever its for its Gorgeous, the colour is Sepia and I rarely choose blondes when I dont know the textures well, but this was the DEMO and it won me over big time – SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, DEMOS DO THAT .

I knew it was time as I said, I had the perfect hair, I ripped out the copy poses out of the AO so that I could take pics – remember I suck at location shots lol – and I was ready to show you the fabulous Seiren and Sea Nymph sets by Bare Rose.

Both sets are stunning, the Seiren is my fav, the first time I wore it I didnt remove the Head Piece for hours after I had to change for work , hee hee I can get away with headsets, just not a tail. The sets are both incredibly detailed and soooo much goes into making a Mermaid set.

Not just pretty shapes and colours, but all the prim work and invisiprims and what not, to hide our feet and change out lower body into a believable shape…the Bare Rose set does actualy have its own AO, so when you go and get them, because I know you will want to 😛 check out the AO in the set first and if you are happy with that then YAY, if you want more then check out Merwings, when You have all your bits and pieces sorted and you need hair for Mermaids with incredible movement and delish styles, then off you swim to Analog Dog :o).

Have fun and dont be like me and wait over a year to fulfill what may seem like a silly thing, because it felt incredible to be a Mermaid that first day, and well I even visited an Aquarium and Mel TP’d me to land in the fish tank THAT ROCKED!

Veschi is a store that constantly tips the scale on yummies, you see items released by Alla Ruff that we wouldnt know we loved, until she made them.

There have been so many times I have wanted to head over there and purchase latest releases, and yet never was able to really get as much wear out of them as I would hope to.
The other day though a notice popped down just as I was in Group Shuffle mode – constantly have to do that to be invited to groups for helping set up satellite stores/fairs etc.

I was in between shuffles and Alla sent a notice saying that she had put out a Group Only Gift item, so to join to get it…I ummed and ahhhed because well its kind of hard to do that when I know that often I will have to leave the group again. I joined and got the item from notices archives out of curiosity more so than anything, and sent an IM to Alla saying thank you.

It took a few days to be able to unpack it and get over to the store, I did tell Alla I would visit later that day, but all the theft stuff happened so didn’t make it. I think I am glad I waited though, today I had the time to try on the Group Gift and YUM! the Jeanius pants are just too Gorgy.

ETD is having a Clover hunt until Saturday midnight, so get your prims off and hurry over to find the 5 clovers hidden on the sim, yes not just in the store but all over the ETD sim. I need SKILLED, seasoned DJ’s for these SL night time hours. Mature sims, any genre goes! OOOOO I just also remembered something from a notice, will verify this too though, but I ‘THINK’ that if you want to be a part of the RFL fundraising effort and not a part of the fair, they have set aside a portion of space for people to do that, so you could contact Nevar Lobo and make sure thats accurate, but if so and you want to make something fabulous and contribute the funds from it to RFL that would rock too.
