Loco Pocos and You
When Loco Pocos was opened, and a few days prior… some blessed bloggers got a tour. I remember being in Washu Zebrastripes IM box running off at the mouth a billion times a second with a thousand ideas for Loco Pocos of the future – what I am about to share NOT being one of them – but I had so many thoughts.
I wanted plushies, so that when not in tiny mode you could still carry a Loco Pocos around with you, I also wanted to get some big company in RL to see the vision that is Loco Pocos and make them an educational tool, such as pc software for reading and mathematics for small kids etc, just like they have done with Pooh and Barbie etc, I wanted to go to a store in RL and buy Loco Pocos keychains and everything Loco Pocos like stationary, and bobble head dolls for the car lol, I’m telling you I got THAT excited, and still a billion percent believe that that is the future of Loco Pocos.
Washu and Damien have gone on to win an award in RL for the short film shot using the Loco Pocos characters, they have created such a wonderful sim that shows how SL really inspires, and most recently have had creators create items that compliment the range.
Now it is YOUR turn. The Loco Pocos Development Box is here, which you can purchase and go about making your own fantastic Loco Pocos accessories that you then can SELL SELL SELL to the public, yes you get a license authorising you as a developer of Loco Pocos merchandise. There are so many ways to create beautiful items with the tools provided, I think that this could be the therapy of the future lol, its like a build a bear for SL.
So if you have any desires to step out of your creative circle and tap into something a hell of a lot of funna, or even if you know you can texture but cant build to save your life, this could be right up your alley. A quickie today.
The Sexy Velvet dress is from a store called Sassy Kitty, so how could I resist.I actually came across it on xstreet and decided I was in the mood for taking a gamble, I can’t help it but xstreet still feels that way for me, onrez was so safe *sighs*.
Anyway I purchased this dress and it was exactly as I hoped it would be, actually a bit sexier on I have to admit. The fabric is lovely, and the ring cut outs are very shagadelic. I tp’d over to the actual store last night at Sassy City – have to admit feeling a touch corny being there – and grabbed these fabulous Skull gloves, for 20L they were a bargain and a half and come in other colours and other prints, but skully ones are a Must Have.
Wanting to wear something that was going to show off the New Grace Skin by PXL this dress was it. The new skin has a very charismatic face, beautifully shaded with full lips and a great nose, if you haven’t already worked it out I have a thing about my nose.
The body detailing is as usual very meticulously carried out, Hart Larsson of PXL takes a lot of pride in his attention to detail, there are alot of options in the Grace Skins, there are 7 lip colours and 4 eyeshadow/make up options as well as dfferent brows and freckles versions also.
There are also different ways of fat packing the skins, by either purchasing based on eye make up or lipstick. THe liquid liner effect especially in this one shown is just lovely.
The boots I am wearing in both pics are from Lya, they are the Valentina slouch boots, they are beautiful leather ankle boots, with gorgeous colours and the ability to have them lace topped or not, not everyone likes lace. What I really like is that without the slouch portion these boot bases will look fantastic with dress pants or jeans, they have that biker boot feel to them.
The stunning hair I am wearing is from Magika and is the Raid hair, I really like long tails that have bands wrapped around them at various lengths.
I really don’t grasp the quickie idea very well do I lol. This next set is from UnZipped, it is called Vintage Steam Punk and is a great set with different options of wear. One option not shown is a full length ball gown skirt that is just gorgeous and I still have on, but that you will have to see when you visit the store.
The other fab options are the short style skirt and the fabulous bloomers, the back and front straps on this set are just lovely. I have added the Gloves from the MAiiKI striped strapless set, I love these gloves and have begged forever for them to be sold as seperates in lots of colours.
Again the Grace skin looks so beautiful especially when wearing the gold/tan colours of the set, they really highlight the beauty of the tone of Grace by PXL . The hair again by Magika is the Lulu hair and you cannot really see it well enough on these pics, but it is braided around the back which is just gorgeous.

Hair Updates a thunk
Ok so I was talking to Truth and had one of my thunks…Hair creators need to consider putting update scripts in their hair. To be able to update an existing style to the latest textures available without having to rebuy the style would rock.
No offence it’s not to diminish sales etc, because I really do not think any hair creators change textures expecting people to run out and buy the hair all over again…but more to have the best quality out there with the increase in skills over time, but because customers can’t always rebuy it all it means older styles/purchases often don’t get worn at all.
I myself try not to wear older textures in posts (off the posestand I don’t mind at all), because I know that I have in the past sent a reader bonkers trying to find a style that no longer existed 🙁 but I got a great friend out of it lol. It is also hard even keeping up with what is newer, and I think that some people would feel more reassured buying up a whole store of hair knowing that no matter how many improvements the creator made, you were right there with them.
Again this is not to say anyone is doing the wrong thing, or bad by the customer, I do not think so at all…change is fabulous and watching a creator change and improve over a length of time rocks..but it was a thunk of how to take away the painful decision making on actually changing out textures etc, I know that some toss around the idea for months very worried about customers being disappointed, this would be a way of taking away some of that stress.

Post 15 Fashionable Relay Challenge
Post 15 is up, Lavea Alter of A Bomb has done a fabulous 360 on the look created by Rosie Shark and it is going to be an interesting pick up by Brandy Rasmuson of Exile Gear, I know that she has style written all over her. This will be a wonderful pass.

Pose Maker Challenge
Achariya posted a Pose Maker Challenge, and that challenge is brilliant. I myself give credit to the posemakers I use in every post, as well as the ones that may end up on the cutting room floor, but alot of the time that can just become more info.
My choice for posemakers would have to be Maitreya, not because I am into the whole best, better etc thing, but just for the fact that I honestly believe they changed how we looked at ourselves. Until Maitreya released animated poses/stands I had never moved other than changing between stands in my AO.
I do not know if they were the first and even if they were the 50th it was them that had me then, and still now begging for more. This first stand was in one of my AO’s for over a year, it was my absolute favourite stand… it is the 01.2 CCBirdgirl Stand and I love it, not only did it have such a lovely hip weight shift balance, but the arms stretching out behind you and a raise up on your toes animation while doing so had me in lust with it from the start.
This was my version of the arms stretching up in the air, which I always used to laugh at when people did it back then, and because I was usually working and dealing one on one with customers, this one wasnt too crazy to have in my AO.
In the pic I am wearing the Kellie tank from CKS Designs in the lovely Yellow colour, with the Dark Grey Ligeia jeans also from CKS Designs… actually to make it easier all the clothing today is from CKS Designer Kit Maitland.
All of the wonderful skins I am wearing are the latest release from TULI, this is the Natalie skin a new line of skins in lovely tones and make ups. There are 7 tones in the skins and there are an abundance of eyebrow options in the form of eyebrow bases.
The shading is lovely and I really like the collarbone and detailing on the body. The make up shown is very basic but gives you an overall feel for the skinline, there is also a light smattering of freckles over the nose, not too much that it conflicts with make up… so DEMO DEMO DEMO.
The boots are the Anessa boots by Adam n Eve, named after the lovely Anessa Stine of On Your Toes blog. Fabulous ankle boots with such wide and chunky straps that are so much fun, especially with the ginormous buckle, very stylish and in great textured suedes…try the demos asap.
The hair is one of the New releases from TRUTH , a fantastic newly opened store, with such marvelous new hair in amazing new textures…also finally the Male Skins have been released, so if you are a female fan of Truth and have yourself a man in need, take him there and demo him up.
This style is Wendy and its a lovely side pony updo look ,and I have to say as angry as I am that the textures are all different these new ones are gorgeous.
Definitely the pose that rocked the planet lol. This is the 04 cup50 ccmodel pose by Maitreya, now there had been a few stores that had poses shown in their posters that covered their bits, but they kept those poses pretty much to themselves…I remember one skin maker starting out and asking me where another skinner got a pose like that from…then came the release of this pose by Maitreya and it was instant fandom.
Now as you know I don’t do nakey, but there have been times that lingerie was lacey or in the case of the Love Bug set by CKS Designs, I need a bit more coverage lol, well this pose had all that and is just so lovely in a perfectly modest way.
Now the Love Bug has barely any modesty lol, I think this set is adorable and as I have stated in the past Kit has this habit of creating a panties set that she can run around the grid in for days, this is the latest. I have had this set for a while, and as soon as I unpacked it I had to work out how to wear it to NOT show my parts lol, luckily for me Miss Kit and Kaboodle does her clothing on all layers and layers upon layers upon layers.
For a bit of modesty, you can wear the raised version of the top over the top that isn’t, and it’s cuter if you use a contrasting colour. The panties are a fabulous boycut style, and the socks are just lovely. SO next time you feel in the mood for panty raiding a sim near you, go all Love Bug.
Very Exciting was the fact that the New Autumn style by TRUTH has a so cute headband that comes in a great range of colours, I did tint the white one for the teal colour, but the others are part of the texture change, and the style looks way cute with Love Bug. Just look how fabulous the tummy and bum of the Natalie Skin by TULI looks with this set.
Perfect for babydolls but so sexy was the release of the 08 CCRunway pose by Maitreya, this animation is pure raunchy and has to much attitude I love it to bits. It is the SL equivelant of the Legally Blonde Bend & Snap. As with many of the animated stands you can capture different parts of them with pics that just make them pop.
I use the slow animation option in Advanced>Character menu and it gives you so much more in every animation to take pics of.
The skin in this shot is the Natalie in Gothic tone, this tone is just beautiful..the make up is subtle and the face structure is really prominant in this tone, again the light freckles across the nose really work it, it’s very pretty.
The hair is Erin by TRUTH, this style has all the waves and beauty of a glamour girl, Truth has used a few different methods with the latest styles it seems, and they are all working.
The dress set is Pristine by CKS , I am so glad that Kit did this set in other colours, as it was originally released in only white, now there is a whole slew of pretty colours to choose from, and OMG socks with bowssssssssssssssssss. This dress is another one of those look at me look at me outfits Kit does so well, and I wore it and he did ♥.
The shoes in this pic and the next are again the Mistral heels by Adam n Eve as shown in the past but really needed to be shown again because they rock.
I have shown this dress a few times in the past, I can’t help it it is just that lovely. This is the Posh dress and it comes in lovely satin colours…like Apple and Cherry and Champagne Pink mmmmmmmmmmm. A great cocktail dress for dancing in the arms of a loved one, and wiggle walking to drive them wild *giggles* not that I do that kind of thing :P.
This animation and the next are of course The Diva poses ………………………………………………………. do you remember what you were doing ? lol. I remember the little Maitreya store in the sky being so jam packed full of people that no one could move or tp in so I hijacked a few to hinode to get them there lol.
Another secret is that the first movie I ever filmed isn’t the one thats on Youtube, but it is in fact in the rubbish. Only Beau and Onyx know that I really tried to make a movie of the Diva poses, but having no idea what I was doing, and a really low memory older PC it was a big fail…Beau felt sorry for me though and made a movie that he let me be in showing the Diva Poses , and its the movie that launched them so to speak because it was the first visual of them if memory serves me right.
Movie HERE, anyway the poses are so incredibly beautiful and really had so much going on in them that captured your attention, for me the 19 and 20 diva poses are my favourite because they are so theatrical.
Again using the slow animations function really gives you so many ways to take pics with the one animation.
The lovely New Bangles called Arta are by Dela, they come in different layer sizes and are a new style of creating by Kura which she is very excited about. The hair is Felicity 2 and again a gorgeous New Style by TRUTH, the curls and the incredible bangs of this hair make it a MUST HAVE.
This last look isusing Diva pose 20, as I said totally theatrical and so beautiful. The dress I am wearing is an old CKS Design called Temptress, it comes in lovely asian textures and the gold is one of my favourites, the cut out at the front again shows off the beautiful body detailing in the Natalie skins by TULI.
This is one way to be culturally sexy, the hair rose by Essentia in gold adds that little bit more, and the lovely Felicity style by TRUTH is just VA VA VOooooom.
Great thing about that slow animations function is that you can catch your smiles when you shoot pics :), and if that doesn’t work you can always grab a free emoter from VR Foundry.
