The Beauty of Zaara

Autumn Song by Sarojini Naidu
Like a joy on the heart of a sorrow,
The sunset hangs on a cloud;
A golden storm of glittering sheaves,
Of fair and frail and fluttering leaves,
The wild wind blows in a cloud.Hark to a voice that is calling
To my heart in the voice of the wind:
My heart is weary and sad and alone,
For its dreams like the fluttering leaves have gone,
And why should I stay behind?

Zaara 1

Today a post that has taken me too long to get to. {Zaara} appeared like my interpretation of the poem, Beauty finding its way through to capture our hearts. Some of you know that for a year before Digits I managed a different store in Phils Place, one that specialised in cultural clothing so to speak, everyday for a year I was in either business attire or traditional clothing of some sort, so it has taken me awhile to be able to get back into that mode.

Have I admired and adored Zaara’s clothing, a huge YES, but to buy such incredibly beautiful things, and to not be able to wear them for reasons of my own; was a diservice to the artistic talent and undeniable radiance of the creations. I have been given two items in the past from Zaara which I will also show today, and during RFL I did do some shopping, was hard not to, but it was last night on a spur of the moment thought I ran over to the store and as my eyes focused, before me was a Jewel.

The Menaka Sari in Dark Green is just heavenly, there are actually 6 of these beauties, and it was hard to choose even though the green was my favourite. I took a pic and passed it to Mel who was working to ask him what he would choose, he of course being perfect chose the green ♥. So green it was and back I ran to put it on, and it exceeded my expectations which were already incredibly high on just the vendor ad.

The green is marvelous, rich in depth like an emerald, with the stunning gold trim on the prim and texture pieces, what I didn’t expect was to fall so in love with also the three different styled tops that go underneath, strapless, halter and a short sleeve more tranditional looking top. So much consideration in how this Sari has been put together for it to really sit so well on the body is again just another thing that Zaara does so well.

For whatever reason you find yourself longing for such a spectacular garment, it will be something you feel special to be part of. One of the two items given to me in the past from Zaara is the Suvarna kundan nose ring, Zaara noticed that I had started wearing one, which I actually painstakingly made myself and gave this one to me as a present, comparing the two would be like comparing an old sock to a rainbow, not even close. This Nose-ring is beautifully crafted and has pristine placement, the gold and pearls are just wonderful, as is all of Zaara’s Jewelry – other pieces of jewelry I have worn in the past because they are gorgeous.

Now the hair is from Curl Up and Dye and was released at Hair Fair, I saw many walking around with this on after as it really is an incredible style, the prim work is astounding , there is detailing in this hair that you don’t even realise is there unless you look all around and even underneath. The style is Rheia and Leetah Moxie of Curl Up and Dye does amazing themed styles, even though this one isn’t necessarily in keeping with the Sari, the two go splendidly together.

Bloggers fate kicking in again with the beautiful NEW Madelaine skins from Damiani by Pompeja Rossini, these are new bodies and faces to the delightful Damiani skin range. Madelaine Tan Khaki Melon is this skin and as soon as I saw the name I hoped and was rewarded beautifully, the eye make up is just perfection for the Sari, with soft lips and the usual modify option to change the tone and lips, make sure you check that out when trying on the DEMO if it has mod rights too.

This dress makes me smile everytime I see it, whether in my inventory, on my body, or on other people, it’s just that kind of dress. I would have to say that the Calangute dress for me will always feel like ‘The Signature Dress” of {Zaara} , it was the buzz dress. The floaty summery nights style dress is just so romantic and delightful. I think that many girls had dresses similar to this style growing up, and I think thats why I love it so much, not to mention the incredible belts wrapped repeatedly around the torso in beautiful textures.

I wanted so much to show the belt on jacket layer with other creative looks, that was always my plan, then I came to realise, that even though it truly is a remarkable Must Have! seperate to use with other looks, it truly only needs to be shown with the dress and the information that you CAN wear it seperatly,

I wanted a beautiful style in a loose pony style, because thats just how this dress makes me feel, and when I came to Isabeau from Philotic Energy I thought it was perfect , but the beading and ties in white/grey were taking away from the dress, so with much fun I tinted them all in the colours of the belt and dress and was so overjoyed in how pretty it all looks- and yes if you know the hair, I did even do all the back ones lol.

Always my go to for incredible ranges of unusual colours in shoes, is Enkythings, and the Nana heels in Coral were a beautiful compliment to the whole look. Again the Make Up in the Damiani Madelaine tan glam blue pink were also incredibly complimentary to the dresses colours, Pompeja really does a wonderful job with not only the skins at Damiani but knowing what make up blends so beautifully together.

Now these two dresses I had to buy as the set, Fulvari is such a girly girl dress, the colours and fabrics are just exquisite, day time strolling or night time dating this is the dress for both, the gold trim makes it dressy enough to go well into the evening, and I couldn’t resist wearing the Bamboo Necklace and Earrings from Essentia with the incredible green in both coloured dresses, the Bamboo set with incredible rich jade inlay is stunning, the prims are all handcrafted into amazing art with bamboo branches and minute leaves in gold, you really need to check that set out, it’s amazing.

Equally fabulous is the 043 hair from White Well , Kyoko does such brilliant styles and this one is just superb, ending it all with Madelaine tan Steel siena from Damiani, rich lips and dramatic eyes its all just too much yummy. All poses today were from Ana Lu poses, by Ana Lutetia .
