Not so Bad is Oh so Good
Now I could pretend that these are my two homes, that I come home to each night. But alas mine always end up with unpacked boxes everywhere and my VR Posestands. I did however decorate them how I would love to live in them, even if for only a day or so before they end up messy.
In the past the Not so Bad homes I have shown have had a very beautiful ethnicity to them, so it was surprising to me to see their two most recent releases in more of a modern range. The first and most recent is the BOW Apartment skybox, this gem is perfect for the home office style person. Stunning woodwork, beautiful textures and enough space to do all you would need to do in such an environment…it is just on the right side of cozy. My favourite features are the beamed ceiling below the loft upstairs, and the ability to colour your feature wall with the click of the control panel.
Most of the accessories and furniture are Not so Bad pieces, from other sets, but with the addition of some from Lisp Bazaar – a store I could take everything home from given the chance – and the adorable pumpkins on the shelf and in the corner in PINK and white, are from W.Winx, who has created the most beautiful pumpkin patches for people to celebrate Autumn and Halloween.
The Second House is the Modern House, and this one is HUGE, only one bedroom which is bizarre with this size house, but wow what a layout. Once I did the sitting room and other areas I did end up with a large space in the middle of the living area, not really feeling it as a dining room, so I think maybe another rug or two and possibly some kind of art piece could work, or possibly even something in the way of a room divider may make it less roomy and more homey.
My favourite space was the walk through in the centre, an open roof area, that has a tranquility all it’s own, adding some deck chairs and a bit of the sexy Codebastard Redgrave art on the wall, I could spend hours watching the water in here. The use of plants, water and bamboo, are a big win for me, and I just love the driftwood accents. The kitchen and bathroom items are all part of the modern furniture sets, which are seperate, as is all the furniture, and this time some art from Scribble’s gallery over the fireplace. By the time I did the decorating and what not, the Modern house came in at around 800+ prims, which is a lot, but for the size of the house, you would have that many and more, so definitely take the time to look around both builds and all the other incredible ones at Not so Bad, you will definitely be inspired for new home love.
The clothing I am wearing first off pants wise are from LeLutka, these are Fallen and Cargo and both stunning. The sculpts are great and the overall styling is just awesome. I could wear these every day with ease and there are even tartan ones in the fallen, so if ever called on for a round on the course, these are the pants to have. Mixing it up with Aoharu’s Military jacket over the Eclectic Apparels Calypso bra, must haves for sure, and then topping it off with the latest hat hair from The Strand, and you all know I love my hat hair wooohooo.
