Second Life – Avatar Welcome Pack – Tutorial

It has been a very long time since I last did a post. I was taking a break that escalated into a much lengthier downtime than intended. I wanted to do a tutorial on the Avatar Welcome Pack, because even though it isn’t new to Second Life, it is now actively visible as a quick click-and-go option in the Second Life Viewer, the Firestorm Viewer, and other third-party viewers, and it will soon be added to the Mobile App experience as well.

I also felt it might remind people of its existence, especially those who may not have paid much attention when it went live in April this year. Having access to high-quality mesh bodies and heads without the usual costs is a huge benefit for everyone, both new and established residents. It also gives content creators a clear message: if every new resident is now instantly using a Legacy body, what more motivation do you need to include it in the bodies you create for?

Speaking of which, the Legacy brand has just updated their Discord option to a whole new studio-style setup. If you were in the older one, log in and follow the instructions to move over to the new experience.

I am very out of practice with filming, editing, and juggling all the creation balls without hitting myself in the face, so I apologise for any clunkiness along the way.
