I have mentioned many times in the past about my love for Tutti Frutti and her print skills. This latest release just shows much more love for them, and especially in the bottom region. Tutti Frutti has joined the world of appliers for bums, and with my Ghetto Booty on, I was ready for some capri pants love. The top that is also a Tutti Frutti release has a colour change hud, and I just love the texture used for it. I am hoping it will have a white option in the future.

Ruxy has been working hard on a lot of custom work and full perms items in the past year. As well as more clothing than other items. But this latest release has been beautiful footwear as slink add on items. Three gorgeous styles of shoes, and only one shown in this post. The Amarillys shoes are just lovely, with chain and floral detailing that must have been an incredible amount of work to create. They are add ons for the Slink Mid feet, so if you don’t have those already, this is a good time to remedy that.

Yesterday in my post I wore one of the styles from C88 that Clawtooth has made, today the other of the two and honestly, both styles are just big winners for me. I love how they are absolutely complimentary to eachother, as in the same girl just wearing her hair a different but similar way, without it being too samey. The loose side bun is gorgeous and honestly can go from casual to dressy very easily.

I ran over to Tea Soup the other day when I saw this bangle, and picked up a few other items while I was there. The skelly fish bangle is a must have for pisces and all things watery lovers like me…also the kitty ring was 1L and just too cute whatever the price, so definitely grab those too. I did reposition it easily for my Slink hands, and it is mod, so if you have to scale it up or down, that is easy also.

So while we were on this huge shopping jaunt – this story will end eventually I promise – We met up with Cajsa and ran around the builds at Fanatik. I wanted us to no longer Platform Dwell, as many of us tend to do that in Second Life. Rez a floor in the air, and thats about it, then rez everything as we need it, unpack boxes and bags, and leave junk everywhere…or at least that’s what happens with Whimsy and myself. The only clean areas are our VR Studios.

I didn’t want a homey house, not for our shared space, it needed to be big, and spacious, but also have areas we could work either together or separate. We went back and forth, Cajsa, Whimsy and I, up and down levels in the sky and finally found the perfect build. It’s huge, and everything we need…we have an office that we share, areas for meetings for Hair Fair and the like, as well as comfy socialising areas, which you can see one of in the pictures. Whimsy made sure we had the seating halfway between her VR Studio space, and my VR Studio space, so that we could talk to our friends that come over for a visit. So far we have been really sociable, and it has been lovely.

The entrance area is huge, and long, and I really needed to break that up somehow, so with the help of the Taylor Screens from The Loft, I made them larger and they became artistic partitions. Once you make them bigger they will grown in LI, so be aware that if you do have a budget, you cannot always do such things with mesh. Other great things about the Taylor set from The Loft, is those great wall lights, they are not part of the build, but part of the set, and fit right in with the remodeled warehouse feel of the building. I love when you can easily combine items and creators in that way.

As you can see from the final pic as I sit all fancy on this wonderful sofa by Pilot, that is also a Collabor88 item…I have my VR Studio set up behind me. Now I cannot show you it all just yet, as the NEW Backdrop is going to be released at Pose Fair 2014, but there are some great changes, and its an update for all you already wise VR Studio users. I am so excited, as I got to play around with it a little earlier today and am so looking forward to the full release. The VR Foundry store is right next to W.Winx and Flair at Pose Fair, so you can visit us both at the same time.

Now other great things from this round of Collabor88. The wrap dress I am wearing is by Maitreya, a sexy dress with a leather clip making it all hold together, seriously this is one of those dresses that you see in movies, often end up on the floor very fast. The fabric is beautiful, inspired by the Watercolour themes of this month.

The soft side pony from Clawtooth is really lovely, and just brings more attention to the very cleavage friendly look – please remember to not wear cleavage boosting skin options with a dress of this style, as there is nothing keeping them together. Also bringing attention to that area is the very delicate and oh so pretty Gold Rose Pendant by Yummy. It also comes in silver, and while silver is usually my go to with jewellery it really turned out to be a golden day today. Or at least a creamy one. The shoes I have on are new add on shoes by Fri.day, seriously their shoe releases are getting sexier and sexier every time, the sides of these are just glorious, and I think the bow front just give them such charm and grace…they go with the Slink Mid Feet, and you definitely need thise for upcoming spring time social gatherings.

This post has been sitting waiting to be done for over a week, I am not sure how that happened, I was so excited to be ahead of myself and then BOOM! everything just blew up. I have been busy though, not just slacking off. I worked hard with Whimsy Winx on getting our Pose Fair items set up and ready for people to enjoy. As well as setting up Flair at Cosmetics Fair, everything is happening this week.

If you didn’t know already, Ploom has decided to separate her skins into a new brand called Paper Rabbit, which is exciting and such a cute name. She currently has her Visage appliers and skins set up at Slink West, and finally just released an add on eye make up applier set yesterday, so if you already have the lovely willow skin and appliers for the Slink Visage head, then run over, because she is beautiful.

I had some wonderful customer service over a week ago now, with the release of these adorable shorts and cami top by Mimikri. I ran over as soon as I saw the release, because it is just a stunning ensemble, and there are some really vivid print options as well. So I went to demo them, and SHOCK HORROR! No XXS in the sizes. I was mortified, now I am not tiny, and I didn’t go making radical changes to my shape when standard sizing came about, I was blessed, but I am xxs in pants and skirts and S in anything up top, depending on the style, sometimes xs is fine also. But pants wise, I cannot wear anything bigger than xxs unless high waisted.

I IMd the creator, and asked if perhaps it was a mistake, as the other standard sizes were there, just not xxs. Mimikri Kit got back to me the next day, saying it was no mistake, but that she has since added the xxs and that she will do so from now on. This is wonderful news, and for anyone that is also a xxs can now shop all over the place at Mimikri, because honestly that store has such amazing creations, and such wonderful customer support. So of course I ran straight over and got my new shorts and top and I love the all white look.

I knew that I wanted to wear them with my new sneakers that I picked up from Bleich. I am a sucker for well done Union Jack items, not sure if it’s my Aussieness or something, but I do love it when it is done well, and I was torn for a moment once I saw the polka dot versions, but went ahead with my first choice, and am very happy with them. They are unisex so even more fun to rock out.

After that shopping trip, we went on and around and around, I mentioned this in the last post, how Whimsy and I were shopping hard core last week. We went over to Tentacio, it has been a while, and I had seen something I wanted to check out. As soon as I saw this walkman it had to be mine. Whimsy is usually the headphones girl in our group, but this was too adorable to resist, and it brought the whole look together, with my red white and blue look going on.

Finishing it up with this great low pony by Wasabi Pills. This was actually a battle of the hairs that day, Whimsy and I tend to wear a lot of the same things, and I put this hair on in this colour and then Whimsy put some on in the same texture, and I stood my ground this time and went NA UH MY RED… lol seriously we are a bit nuts, but cute :P.

“Big Bar Hair” If you are a fan of any of the incredible cast of “The Thing Called Love” you will remember that song fondly. It is one of my favourite movies of all time, and if you haven’t seen it, then I suggest buying this fantastic hair from Exile, and then watching it. It was actually inspired by Lorde, the hair, not the movie…so whichever way you roll with it, it is definitely worth having.

They aren’t 4 inch heels, more like 8 inch, or they definitely feet that way anyway. These shoes are sexy as all get out, and if you aren’t planning on getting out to anywhere in particular, then I am sure walking around in them naked might just make someones day. Speaking of naked, and now that I have your attention, this skin definitely brings out the want for that.

I actually have another set of pics all ready for another post, and I kept IMing the creator of the skin I am wearing and saying things like ‘Magnificent Side Boob” you know how it is when you get a top that gives off great side views and the skin definitely lives up to it. Well the Willow Skin by Ploom does all that, and more…well it will definitely do more when Helyanwe pulls her finger out and creates more make ups for the Visage Head appliers she has already made. As much as I love the smokey eyemake ups already created, I need MORE DAMNIT! I jokingly say IM’d the creator, Hely and I are friends, so much so that I have threatened her with lots of bodily harm in the past, and more so recently demanding more make up…for those that haven’t already tried Willow with the Visage heads from Slink you need to be getting on that right away….also check out the side boob lol.

Whimsy and I have been shopping hard this past week, it’s been like Christmas, more so because it has been her RL Birthday ‘ Happy Birthday Whimsy Winx ‘ so traditionally we always shop hard whenever that happens. We did a lot of our usual visit one store, find something in that store from another store, check properties and tp over there, which would lead us to something else and so on…it is great fun, and always leads to exciting finds.

We visited Junbug, and I hit all the Gatchas, just because I love taking a spin and seeing what I get, never really care for a specific item, sometimes yes, most of the time I think everything is worth getting. I got this lovely chocker from there, and all the other items are just exceptional, there are even some amazing gowns.

Yesterday following my own advice, I took a spin through The Arcade before it wraps up for another few months. Never fear though, as all items are usually in the stores still in Gatcha form, so you can keep on collecting that way, or of course the yard sales. Even though I do generally hit the sales – my way of giving people that spent back their money to go right back and spend more at The Arcade, I do like to have my spin so to speak.

Even though I am very blessed to have such great friends send me items, I still like to see what my spin would have got me, and this incredible hair from Tableau Vivant got me this adorable Lop Bunny for my head. As soon as he fit himself in place, I was off and hopping to Slink West. I sat upon the railings of the glorious wheat field and took the main picture for my post. Feeling all at one with the farm type of feel.

Wearing the new tied shirt from Mon Tissu, with the great jeans, and these even great city ankle boots…which kind of makes me laugh at the name, as they definitely have a kind of Country Cowgirl boot style to them. This style shoe was really popular late 80’s early 90’s and I loved wearing them with pants.

Only a few more hours left of great events, such as The Arcade and of course My Attic which I may be biased about but who can blame me, I love that event, even if it is technically My Attic :P.

Birdy has made visiting yard sales for The Arcade an experience this month. If you have not seen the adorable Puggly accessories, then you have been walking around not really seeing. I thought I was going to be able to resist, but one look at them and it is all over, and if you can leave them sitting there on yard sale tables, then you are stronger than I am. It was all I could do not to take them all home, but then I have a real issue with animals in SL, they make me sadface just as much as they bring joy, because the idea of them sitting in my inventory makes me feel bad.

Not only are they adorable pets, but the little outfits they are all dressed up in, are truly over the top crazy fashionista pet loving must haves. I saw a lot of bumblebees out there, but it is the lion that won me over the most. But if you are into taking the gamble that is gatcha then definitely run over today, as it closes soon and take a stab at getting what the machine gives you. I was visiting Whimsy’s table at the sale, and that is how I ended up ‘adopting’ mine.

The other day I wore the blazer by Tres Blah that is at this months Collabor88, and mentioned that there was a tank top version as well. This is it, and I love the floral print on this one. I couldn’t resist wearing it with the NEW Mon Tissu Harlow’s jeans that were released the other day. These fabulous large cuffed jeans are fantastic, and remind of me of older vintage Artilleri jeans – gosh I miss that brand releasing – I went with the distressed look, as I loved the contrast between them and the newness look of the blazer.

I am wearing a pair of the Gladia sandals that are slink add ons by Pure Poison. I mentioned they were having a SALE this weekend, and they come in three colours for the one price, so get hopping over there. The great tote bag is also from there, so hurry before the sale ends.

The skin I am wearing today is the Visage Appliers from Ploom. The Skin itself is called Willow, and it is a beautiful skin. I love the face, and it comes up so rich on the Visage head by Slink. It has a mini make up pack on top of the face itself with many brow options. The hair I am wearing is also a NEW Ploom style, and so fun, with it a kind of reverse half uppydo.

It was a great day yesterday, Whimsy and I spent all day running around the grid…visiting with people and checking out some amazing deals. One of the first things we did on logging in was zoom right over to Pure Poison. There is a 50% OFF Weekend Sale now on there, and we didn’t want to forget and miss out. I bought most of the stores contents, there are three full shops of amazing items, and even at full price they are great. If you love accessories you will love the store, but also join the in world group for FREE as they have something like 30 amazing group gifts set out in the courtyard.

Then we toured the stores for FLF, the shoes were a must have by Fri.day, these are the Jet heels, that are add ons for the Slink Mid Feet, and I am loving the wooden heel, and the overall shape and style. I am wearing them with my Flair toeless leggings that I just updated to have Ghetto Booty appliers – so if you have them already just have them redelivered using the redelivery terminal in the Flair store, and you will get the appliers included.

Whimsy and I both twinned out, wearing my leggings and the beautiful mohair cropped sweater by League. This swaater is so soft and luxurious looking, League creator Nena Janus sure knows how to do amazing texture work, not only on clothing but on Skins as shown in the skin I am wearing today. The skin is Erin, and it is currently at Skin Fair, that is only on until the end of the weekend.

Erin is just lovely, and it is the first time I have taken my Slink Visage head off since its release, but with League it was not so hard to do. I cannot wait until Nena has time to convert her skins over to appliers for the Visage System, because they will look amazing on mesh. The skins fatpack I noticed also comes with tintable lipsticks which is fun and something definitely worth playing around with.

I am looking forward to todays travels, we are going to make more of an effort to get out and about. We always have so much fun when we do, and we meet some great people. So if you ever see me out and about, say hi, if I don’t beat you to it :).

Some days, you just have to exclaim love for your inventory. When items are created specifically with other items in mind, so that they fit together beautifully, it is always a bonus to find other items from other creators that do the same. Such was my luck with the beautiful top by Tee*fy that was made with the skirts in mind, but I went with these great high waisted pants from Baiastice. There are two types of this top, one has more of a high collar look and contrast colours, but I really like this bare shouldered look.

I am wearing new pieces from Salvadori Paris, which is one of the original partners of Faenzo and has now branched off on their own. The Carrie shoes are Slink add ons, and the oversized glasses are so reminiscent for me at least of their first ever items. It will be great to watch both brands now as they grow on their own.

It really is an uppydo kind of week this week. This lovely style is from Clawtooth at C88, and it really is a different look than used to from Bubbles, but I like it a lot, I hope he does more of these types of styles. This style makes me miss Sofia Gray, she will love the amount of oversized buns being produced lately…so I hope she sees this picture and comes in world.

The skin I am wearing is a Visage applier skin by Deetalez, who was one of the first Visage appliers creators. It is Viola and it is lovely, you buy the skin and appliers, and then you get an additional little make up applier free on the side. It has 3 lipsticks and some freckles options, and more to come, which I am looking forward to.

Playful is the theme of this round of My Attic, so a playsuit by Has Been is the perfect outfit released by Has Been. Has Been was only on MP for a short while, but now has an in world location, and is part of this round of My Attic. The playsuit is HUD controlled, you get to choose what colour shorts, and what colour top portion of the suit. I love the polka dots, but really wish that solid was also an option for the top as well. The Belt is a great addition, and it’s a separate piece, so you can use it for other outfits easily.

The shoes I am wearing are add ons for the Slink Mid feet, and are at this session of C88 by Fri.day. Fri.day has been creating lots of great add on footwear for the feet, and my favourite feature of them is that they look like ankle boots with the main parts cut out, leaving nice lines. Because of the closed in toes of the shoes, you could also wear these with some great stockings…something with more polka dots would be fun.

The hair I am wearing is by Mina hair, and is a My Attic release, the updo is lovely, with the long tendrils pulled down of the piled high do. I really like the thick bangs, and richness of colour. It frames the face really well. The face I am wearing is a NEW Visage Applier face from Glam Affair for the Slink Visage face, I am wearing it with Emma, and it looks lovely, with this really striking make up. The appliers come with three faces options of wear, they differ due to the brow colours, and the redhead has full face freckles. If you are already a Glam Affair fan, then you definitely need to try the demos of Romy, she is adorable. You will find the Romy Skin Appliers for Visage Slink heads at Skin Fair, which is in its last few days. Make sure you head on over and see as much as you can, some amazing skins available, and a great annual event.

I had a race with Gidge Uriza for this pink look today, it was a race I made up in my head though, she wasn’t aware it was happening. But when an item has the name Pash in the title it is all mine. To Pash in Australia is to have a nice long kissing session, the kind that gives you a sore face for days because usually it has gone into the early hours of the morning and by then 3am stubble has occured and his kissing is starting to take on sandpaper form, but if its a good Pash WHO THE HELL CARES!

Lacuna Inc made these incredible colour block Maxi skirts and tanks for My Attic. I love the colour block ones, but you also get an additional solid colour in the set, during the event. The colour block combinations are gorgeous, I can see people loving them well past spring and into the summer months, they look amazing with all sorts of tops, not just the cross back tank, sold in the three packs of the block colours as well for a special price for My Attic.

The colours in the skirt reminded me of a past release by Izzies, so I ran off to Marketplace and there is was in its splendour. The hair tie bangles are seriously genius creations, any girl that has mid to long hair, has at one time or another worn numerous hair ties around her wrist to keep them handy, so making it an actual accessory, is just so fun.

The other great Izzies release is the Visage appliers in the Maci skin for the New Slink Visage heads. I am wearing the Visage Emma head, with the Izzie’s Maci appliers. I love this skin on Emma, she looks beautiful, and honestly the ad that Izzie did for them is one of my favourites. Another great thing is that Izzie created hairbases for the heads, so that you have that built in. The face is just lovely, and the make ups hud which is an additional purchase, is full of beautiful lipsticks and some eyeshadows, not many of those as yet, but I am sure the range will grow.

The favourite lippies for me where the matte options, I really love how matte lipstick looks on the heads. The Becky head base lipsticks are also matte, but you can of course wear those skins on Emma, so I am covered either way. I wore the sunkissed tone for this post, but also threw on the pale for a quick look and it is so luminous and beautiful. I cannot wait for more skins from the Izzies range to make their way to Visage appliers.

Head to toe, the top of the head is adorned with the Gloster style by Tableau Vivant, also a My Attic item, and it looks stunning on both men and women. This hair was so popular before it was even in the event, I swear to you a girl was crying outside the closed doors because she was two days early to get it. I felt bad she had to wait, but I do so enjoy how enthuisiastic people get for My Attic and the wonderful items that are released there, we are definitely lucky to have such talented and really beautiful Designers as part of the event, they all mean a lot to us at The Deck.

The lovely shoes are strappy heels by L.Warwick Handmade Shoes, her range has grown so much in the last 6 months, looking forward to the next 6.
