The post I did earlier today was actually a picture I took yesterday, so apparently I had more photos in me for today. I saw this dress on Marketplace and just fell for it, and the fact that the whole store is on sale for 50L just made it even more exciting to share.

I was dressed and ready, knew the hair, the shoes, and knew I needed a cross necklace – no clue why of course, but it just was what I wanted – so to Mandala I went, well the MP page, as I was there anyway. Now this dress is a little bit of a cheat, by that I mean that it is a model for one type of dress, that was textured in a way to not show the other model attributes. So with that being said, you will need to be careful of water or other alpha like things. But it was easy enough to shoot, and I just love the style so much.

It has a very late 60’s feet to it, and with the stunner clunky mary jane style shoes by Faun that are at My Attic, it was a no brainer look. The shoes are a two for one look as well, with the straps being an option with the hud, so do not miss out on these they are a bargain for the Mid Slink feet.

Izzies released some NEW darker tone Visage appliers for the Slink Visage head, and I was so excited to put them on, I have on the tanned and yay. The lighter shades are more a Whimsy thing and I tend to go tanner, so this is a bonus for me. It also helps that they have a lovely hair base, because this gorgeous style by Emo-tions needed it, and the head – at the moment – doesn’t come with one, but that will be an update shortly at Slink.

This hairstyle is so super glamorous, the sleek waves are just divine, and whether dressy casual like I am now, or super glam gown and all, this style will definitely fog up your mirror.

I had some fun with this pic making it a gradient at the bottom, just for effect and fun, so trust me the skin isn’t grey at the bottom 🙂 .

My Attic has started another edition, and the theme is Pin-Ups, Prints and Printsesses. The theme actually came about because of Mel, as I had the prints part and then needed something more, as we have so many great creators in My Attic that are really wonderful at creating rich textures that really make an outfit pop.

I love what has come of this session and being able to mix and match with some great Collabor88 items was a bonus, as their theme is currently Milkshakes and Turntables, so you have a wonderful array of vintage goodness.

I was able to pull out an older Winbox the Change Room/Funk option and use it as a backdroup for my pictures, totally digging my look, because I feel like Sherilyn Fenn .

The top and skirt are a gorgeous ensemble from SySy’s at My Attic, and the top and skirt are separate pieces, you also get a black belt or same belt option. I love the style, the classic lines, and the options, because you can mix and match the colours, or use other items with them.

The incredible shoes are by Lindsey Warwick, also a My Attic item, and wowza the platform on these are incredible. They work with the Slink Mid Feet, but what extreme height you get out of them. The accessories are amazing, they are C88 items. The beads are by Yummy, who you know I love lots and lots, and these beads just really do bring out the bombshell in me…I can just imagine twirling them through your fingers, running them gently over your partners ……… lets leave it there, it just got too steamy up in here.

The bag was something I spied as soon as I arrived at C88, I may have screeched to Whimsy about it being a Must Have, because she is bag crazy, but this is so adorable, and has a texture change hud that you can use to change strap and body of the bag. Not only that it has different hold options, as well as rezzing versions, very cool indeed.

Finishing off the look is the Tart hair by Koy, this hair is sexy personified. For the coming springing into summer months, this hair will be a must have for many looks, so get it now at My Attic, while it and all the other amazing items are only 95L.

I got sent a tester applier set from Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve today, and well I could not resist using it in my post, she is not going to be able to change it now, I am just that mean. It is a make up applier for the Taliya skins she released for the Slink Visage mesh head, and this is how gorgeous it is on Emma.

A few weeks ago Whimsy and I went to Seasons Story Event, which I mentioned, and she posted here. She has the luck of the rare that girl, were as I play just to have a turn and then I am happy with what I get, but she got this amazing tram, and lots of other goodies. It felt like the perfect setting for some Collabor88 items that are with the theme Milkshakes and Turntables.

This amazing dress is by Katatonik and has the perfect Diner feel to it. The sizing is not standard sizing, so be sure to try demos, but I am wearing the average and it fit me fine. It was also the perfect outfit to wear with my new headphones. How adorable are these. They are by Remarkable Oblivion – yes I went back after the other day, and bought everything in site, well almost – and met some lovely people over there as well, Ew and Nipper – waves.

I love these cat ears stereo speakers headphones, they are just, well, remarkable! There are also bunny ears ones, but that felt too themey to me. They fit perfectly over this gorgeous Lamb Hair from C88 called Peggy Sue, which is such a perfect style and perfectly named…makes me want to watch Peggy Sue got married now. Not only has it got those perfect bangs, but also a lovely single wringlet pony look to it.

Make sure you go and grab all the goodies and get your own diner look going, it is fun, and with the Lorelei shoes recently released by Slink for the High feet, I am ready to spend the night glistening and bopping and all the things that are fun. The shoes use materials to make the most incredibly realistic sparkle , you need to see it to believe it.

The other day when I was on the hunt for my dress, I came across so randomly the most eyecatching and truly beautiful accessory. It is this Atlantis headpiece by Remarkable Oblivion, and it had to be mine instantly. It took all my willpower to not wear it immediately, but I wanted it to be special, and what better way to show it off, than with this remarkable New skin by Adam n Eve.

Taliya is one of four skins in the upcoming and current releases by Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve. I have been teasing you with Simone the last few posts, but Taliya is actually in the store now. It is a made for the Slink Visage Mesh Head skin, with beautiful face and appliers that not only change the face, but the brow options, give you open and closed eyelid effects, as well as moles, freckles or sunkissed options for the face.

Now Simone will be my go to skin for a long time to come, but Taliya is just gorgeous also. In keeping with remarkable items, I wanted to also show another number created with the help of Sachi. One Bad Pixel does not release often enough for my liking, but when it does, Sachis texturing skills sure do blossom. This Devo bikini is a gorgeous lot of mesh work, but also the colours and highlights really make it a metalic must do for the pool or beachside.

Easily able to pull off this whole look, with the help of the New Koy hair, this is Bri, and I was so excited to see that this style fits perfectly under the headpiece, which also comes with a bandana option for over one eye, so you can look like a sexy and very beautiful pirate. I picked up this great sarong from Posy on Marketplace, because it is definitely the place to grab random items from when you are just needing a little filler item, and this was perfect, colour wise and length for what I had in mind.

For my picture I have to thank Whimsy Winx, because while I was going to go off and scour beaches in SL, once I went downstairs and realised that The Deck wasn’t beachy anymore – I tend to forget when she bullies me into changing it – but then remembered that of course she is always building little areas for pics up on our platform. Then remembering that some of her first Second Life Stock Images pics were of Palmtrees, I used this pic in the distance.

If you are old like me, 8 years last week to be exact, then DE Designs has been a store that you have visited many times. Like me you may have also gazed in awe of the sneak peak vendor backgrounds that Doc used to post to let you know something was coming, and the work that went into them was amazing. So, so talented.

There have been a few items over the years that were stand out items for me, and this newish dress from DE is one of my latest. The dress is sleek, beautifully modeled, and has a stunning profile…gorgeous texture work and now not only comes in standard sizing, but also fitted mesh as an option. If you are looking for a really striking dress, this and many of the other releases recently done by DE.

The shoes a perfect accompinyment to the look, are by Lindsey Warwick Handmade Shoes. These have small studs that do not over power the shoes style, which means if you are not into studs as a look, you can still really appreciate this High feet only style. The leather work is marvelous as is all the textures on her shoes, and I really love the wedge.

To wrap it up, this hair I am wearing is the 3rd release from the still NEW Koy hair store. This is an amazing style and so beautiful and curliscious. Make sure to keep an eye on upcoming and the other two styles already released by Koy, as their releases are only going to get better.

SySy has completely distracted me this morning with Eurovision, which so far has been pretty decent, more good than awful lol. But I really love the flag stuff they do before they go on, it is so wonderful. Maybe you will be able to pull it up on YouTube or somewhere if you haven’t seen it yet…I am watching it here.

I logged in today to much excitement as Collabor88 has opened its doors for another round. The theme which was a surprise to me, is “Milkshakes and Turntables” now being a huge Grease fan, this hair just instantly made me think of Frenchie, and then I got to also see the inspiration for it, which was a layout done with Penelope Cruz, hence the name. I also didn’t realise until today that Penelope and Lana Del Ray have a very similar look, so I can see her rocking out this fabulous LeLutka do as well.

I felt like taking a stroll by the seashore, and what better place to do that, than outside our studio at upwards of 2000metres lol, yay for Whimsy and her excentricities. The outfit came together easily, what with the lovely skirt and top combo from Baiastice, and then these magnificent sandals from Maxi Gossamer. They are made to be worn with the Slink flat feet, so just add and you are done, then you get to click and change the base and the wonderful dewdrop crystals, incredible work…I am looking forward to more remarkable footwear from Maxi.

The skin appliers I am wearing for my Visage head are soon to be released, and I will probably get a thumping for showing it now, but it is Simone, a skin by Adam n Eve, and I love her.

Whimsy and I were running around Second Life, because it is Friday, and we tend to join everyone doing that. I wanted to take some pics on location, just for giggles, but Whimsy crashed too many times, and made me need to go to the bathroom once she used a voice changer and talked like a chipmunk on speed for ten minutes.

Then we finally got to D.Lab and honestly that place has never changed from being the one store that can make you lose yourself in the wonderment of fun things you can have in Second Life. D.Lab creator has such a lovely mind when it comes to creating, his items are fun and carefree, and childlike in their adorableness. I fell in love instantly at the Giraffe at the door, but it was the Kangaroo and baby included or without that was also a must have for me.

The Kangaroo and the Giraffe both have 18 animations included, and you can sit on three different points on the body. What I love is that they are also animated and with the joey in the pouch it really felt like Mummy Kanga and baby were communicating. So I rezzed a tic tac toe set – that actually works, very cool – and we played a game or two.

The year was 2009, and a hair was created that was a huge hit. So when you all feel like you have seen it before, you have, this is Plooms recycle of the Recycle hair, and everyone has been asking for in the years since mesh was created. I have to give it to Helyanwe this version not only is beautiful, but she also made the cans colour change which I love, because you can totally have a girls night in and all be that little bit different in your can do’s.

The NEW half tucked shirt from Maitreya is so soft and perfect to just spend all your waking hours in, but I wanted to show that not only is it wonderful with the pants released, but also with no pants at all, well underpants and/or kini bottoms at least. It gave me a chance to enjoy the wonderful bedroom set from Trompe Loeil in the amazing villa also by Trompe Loeil and part of this months Collabor88.

The build is amazing, and the detailing and just perfect layout to really turn this into a wonderful home is great. I didn’t go further on the decorating than the one room so far, because this would need to be a labour of love for sure, I would love some amazing tapestries and rugs, and teracotta pieces to really bring up the villa look.

I love the outdoor fireplace area, and the water fountains in various places in the courtyard. This build reminds me of the show Santa Barbara, if I am remembering it properly, because it has not been on since I was younger, but I am pretty sure it was a build just like this one.

The Villa comes with or without greenery, and is only 265 prims with the greenery version, which for a home of this incredible detailing is just heavenly. I could really see it as an artist/creator community space as well, as it really has a lot of charm, and space.
