Yesterday was a day I don’t want to repeat ever again.I never actually thought I would ever Emo or Drama on my blog , it wasn’t something that I ever wanted to do, but felt strongly about defending What’s New. Somehow in all that I ended up having to defend myself.

In the past there was reference to people that edit repeatedly on their blogs, knowing that it would bump up their blog in the feed. I always in the past really thought that was humorous that people would think others need that much attention,as we all know that everyone that visits the feed scrolls through the whole thing , and many do so a few times a day, so wherever you are placed you are going to be seen.

In the past also I said that I was not willing to change my timezones on my blog , and believed very much that it was about timezones the placement. I never really looked at my standing up for keeping my own as being greedy, but it was something I felt I needed to keep as its the only thing I have in Phils Place that keeps me Australian.

Some people that know me, or people that have had dealings with me, know exactly the times I keep in Phils Place and they are nothing to do with Australian ones, I log on anywhere between 10pm my time and 1am and usually don’t log out for the last time until between 5-7pm depending on the day. I do this because I work here , and because if I stuck to Australian times customers and things I need to deal with throughout any given day would be put on hold for too long.

I was able to make some sense of my days with my blog, knowing what I did and when based on my times, something little but something I needed to hold on to. There is also another reason for it, one only a few people in Phils Place know about, and because of that I CANNOT lie about where I am, in the past for Yahoo accounts I have put in an American postcode just to make sure I only had a .com addy but thats the extent of it, does this holding on to something so silly sound odd, sure it does, I know it and you know it , but it’s what I need to do.

I was always certain as I said that the reason I was at the top to start with was because of the fact I post in the future , many have argued the point, but yesterday I got proof. Before I show it and explain what I did to get it, I have a few apologies to make.

First off this is the ONE and ONLY time I have ever manipulated the feed, and for that I am sorry that it went that far that I was forced to do so. Second apology is to anyone that knows me that thinks that I would ever do such a thing, because the fact that you do means I am somehow portraying that. Lastly my apology is to those that don’t know me, because your impression of me based on this means again I have let people down, melodramatic to some sure , you can think so , go ahead , but those that really know me know that yesterday would have completely gutted me, regardless of what I said and how I acted throughout the day.

Now the proof and how I got it. I never look at the feed as much as I did yesterday, and when I do I skim it fast, again its all about visual,if I see pictures that catch my eye I stop and if I see lots of text I also stop, because I like reading what people have to say if its passionate.

Yesterday though on finding out that too many, and for me too many can mean just one,people thought that Phoenix’s post was about me, that they thought I was the one that was being referred to as playing with the feed blew me away, anyway I watched it and it was after my rant. My post sat on top for ages.
I was wondering why my blog and not whats new did that, as to me they were both the same. So checked and found out that I never made What’s New Aussie time, because I wasn’t only going to be posting on it, and everything I did post was going to be about a store in phils place and pertain to that timestamp.

So I thought, I wonder what would happen if I did make it aussie time, and thats my first ‘Sorry’ I changed it to the exact time mine is and asked Alexa of Dark Eden if it was possible to post for her the latest release from Dark Eden as Etain was afk, I could have waited to see if anyone else posted for the day , but as I was clearly upset and also wanted to post just as I post on my own blog , this was going to be a way of clearing things up.

I posted and waited for the update to the feed , and waited and waited and waited , yesterday it didn’t do 15 minute slots it did nearly an hour before a change, again another reason I would sit on top for ages. Sure enough update occurs and there it is Dark Edens What’s New post above my rant.
So then I put it back , and waited for the next update , and bam down it goes , what I also came to notice, is that the feed puts a timestamp on each post on the feed page, a time that is in NO way the time the post was made.

I went back to my blog and looked at the time, I posted it at 2.19am aussie time and that is actually incorrect too, you see that is the time I actually clicked on the New Post button, as while I was typing my rant I was in IM’s with a few different people so it took longer to actually finish, and the first comment was only minutes after it went to publish which was just before 4am , that time in no way changed on my post , but yet the timestamps the feed gave it did a few times. Those timestamps are also in running order for a fair few blogs and then alter again , which is very odd.

This is where I started to freak out, by now I had started moving down the page, and was happy with that, but then BOOM I was back up top and I said to Efe, I haven’t done a thing the only thing that i have done on my blog is comment.

So then I questioned that , it couldn’t be that, could it ? could blogger and the feed be that sensitive that when I comment on my own comments section in my own blog , that blogger and the feed look at it as a change? I am signed in when I comment and its my blog , but is that even possible.

Unfortunately it is 🙁 , and this is my second apology for knowing that if this actually was the case , then I was about to go back up top again. But I do hope you forgive that fact, as this was my only way to show that there has never been a time I have or would do such a thing, the only times I have ever edited my posts have been at the request of a designer, because of incorrect slurl or not giving credit to a collab.
I saw that Ashia had added a comment so ran to the feed opened and again took another pic, you can see that I am below and what timestamp it says above me on the other post.

I commented and waited and waited , not as long this time, and BAM there I am again top of the feed and a higher timestamp than the person I was below earlier.

Not every day do I get comments on my posts , but when I do I generally comment back, and not always straight away but sometimes hours later, if this as I have shown does bump me up as the feed generates it as an edit of some sort , that would explain why there are days I shift upwards.

Was I aware of this until now ? NO I wasn’t because those that really do know me, know that I do not give a rats about spotlight, the clothes and products I show deserve their time on the feed wherever it is as much as everyone elses, if my blog was just my ramblings about whatever , there would be no need to even be on there , but I blog fashion, and I am not silly enough to believe that the only reason I get sent stuff is because I do great posts,even I dont think I do.

I know its because I am on the feed and that means more people see the products, would I ever make sure that I was at the top all day , NO a thousand times NO, I haven’t enough time in my day to do something that manipulative and it’s not my character. But again that anyone at all has thought so hurts me more than I can even express, what this has done though has shown me that everything isn’t always as we think, that we have unfortunately become a bit too jaded lately -that has come up a few times this week in other things – and to assume the evil and bad is something we are doing way too much lately, myself included.

My own actions coming into question this way really opened my eyes to a few things and again my apologies to anyone who thought that I was doing this. Also again my apologies to people that I did post over yesterday to show that Blogger and the feed aren’t exactly compatible.

If you comment on this , please understand I wont be commenting back , not a risk I really want to take right now , also if you have a blogger account and are sceptical about what I have shown , then please try it , my time zone is sydney australia , I usually post my blog first thing in the day -my time – which is as I have said around the midnight early morning time, that of course would also be why I stay up high for so long, as thats a huge amount of time for the feed to make up.

It is the time of the day easiest for me to post and some days I post later , it just depends, I don’t know how to remedy this situation at all other than changing timezones on my blog, and as I said for me that is a hard thing to do, something I will have to think about though.

I have tried to really not go into defending what’s New in the past, I have recently twice though, because its personal to me when someone has digs at it.

Today whoever posts next will be the 1000th post for the blog- that will probably happen while I’m writing this so congratulations-and since it started on the 1st of December 2007 thats a pretty nice number.

Now come back in time with me for a second, towards the end of last year, the feed was a cesspool, day in day out all it was was drama, big gigantic vendettas against other bloggers and designers, every day it was something, and not good somethings.

People were paying not as much attention to the fashion posts or the new release posts at all, it was all about who was backstabbing whom, and what the next drama was going to be. If you weren’t around then , or you didn’t yet have knowledge of the feed, then I am so glad for you, I really am, because its something that not many are proud of at all , or would even want to remember.

Back then also there was a definite missing in action on Tao’s part, he has allot more going on than the feeds upkeep, and people were always complaining about not being able to get on there. There were also a handful of people, Designers who were really afraid of blogging their items- this is fact I know, because I have had the convo’s.

Many Designers and people like me that work for Designers, always believed that fash con should have a blog, a place were all that posted notices in world, were actually able to post on a blog as well, that way not only could those willing to be in the group have notices in world, but those that don’t want constant drop downs were still able to keep up with all posts at their own convenience.

I waited for that, hoped that it would occur but it never did. But there was a need for it , a place were there was no drama, no what people had for lunch – yes that is one of the rules on what’s new – just a blog where Designers could post on content only, include a slurl and pics and that was it.

It has also ALWAYS been suggested that people DO NOT post same things same day if they have their own blog, I am not their mothers, I have tried to keep the posts as clean as possible to the rule of no drama no bloggy type posts, you can ask anyone that posts there that has done one, how fast I am in their box sobbing and saying please don’t.

I have also suggested to people that do have blogs on the same feed, to perhaps even do a montage pic or one or two and link to their own blog for the rest of their new releases, some do that , some don’t, again I am not their mother.

The idea of What’s New was also a place for people that really didn’t want to even see other blogs , that only wanted to know what was new from some stores and thats it, they only want to shop.

I at the beginning regretted adding it to the feed, because of the complaints from some -not enough to make me really regret it – but realised early on still, that many were using it as their ONLY way of communicating NEW releases, and that if the blog wasn’t on the feed those people would miss out on the coverage of everyone else.

Complaining aside for a second, of all the Designers on there, yes NOW a majority have their blogs finally on the feed, but some of those that do never had a blog to begin with, What’s New gave them the practice and the motivation to really grow in the marketing of their stores , they also found that it made them HUMAN to many customers , when they were seen outside of in world notices, and actually had words.

It also gave us as consumers the chance to see people we had never seen before, lets remember that for a second , there are plenty on What’s New who are so grateful to the blog for giving them that exposure, I can name a few that would say so , but I wont , you know who doesn’t have a blog that you only see their releases on Whats New, do you actually want to go without those too ?. Or do you want to take away what gave you their current blogs now ?.

The reasons behind What’s New as I have said was for one place for anyone to visit/bookmark, and only see those things, that its on the feed was a bonus, now I have thought of asking people that have their own blogs on the feed to maybe give up their spots, as I have a waiting list, but then why is that fair either?.

If I was to take those Designers off what’s new just so that you don’t see repeats in the same day, then that means people that go directly to the site and not the feed miss out on those Designers content , again how is that fair.

I have today changed the feed list to only show partial listings , will that make a difference I don’t know, will it make people happy ? I doubt it allot, thing is that by doing that to make the people that are too caught up in their own needs happy, its going to mean that the images that promote that designers goods wont show, so that also means that if they don’t have a blog on the feed and you are only seeing their content on What’s New you will miss out.

Because most of us are people that are visually driven , if a pic is captivating enough we want to know more, hopefully though they will post their pics first and it will include a pic one at least, and again I hope that that One pic is enough for people to want to see what else they have to show, again I doubt it , as we all have different tastes , so their first pic might be an item of no interest but the next four might be something we would tp naked and bald to get our hands on.

Do I feel ill about changing the format of a tool that has made so many designers happy, HELL YES! – I almost cussed then and I abhor that in blogs, but unfortunately thats how upset I am about that.

Everyone complaining and carrying on because they see something twice, should really think hard about who you are complaining about, it’s not me, I only own the blog, its the designers you all supposedly love and admire so much, designers make choices, and they choose to post how they want to, that they post twice at the same time, is because they see further than the feed, they know that people using the Whats New blog directly deserve to know whats new for them at the same time as everyone else.

From a marketing/customer stand point , I also know that there are times I view the feed and scroll down and get to one item and thats it for me , close link and I am off to the store, so if they post on What’s New first thats the image that got me going, if they post on it second it could mean its further down and it really impacts the second time and again off I go.

I am going to keep the feed posting to partial until ONE designer tells me they want it back, if that happens its going back, because IT IS THEIR BLOG I just own the darn thing, if you are so displeased with it being that way , then I double dog dare you to IM the actual designers doing it and take it up with them, you tell them you don’t want to see their items twice on the feed , that it makes you so nuts and that you wont shop in their store until they stop, because thats what all the comments saying it makes you hate the item is really doing, announcing that they are obligated to please you.

The other day I got an IM from Caine Lewinter telling me about a New store opening this week called Novocaine, its a partnership of herself and Novo Zimerman, who I also had the pleasure of speaking to today.

I actually had some spare time, and after my chat with Novo I went right over to the store to see the yummies, as Novo was kind enough to drop some items on me, followed by some more.

The first thing that struck me was the beautiful build, this sim is just lovely, the stores are separated into clothing and hair, and both set ups are just Gorgeous.

While I was there I ran into Torie from Bebae skins and her friend Jade, we had a chat while we were trying on hair demos , and soon there will be NEW Bebae skins and from what I have seen so far YUM.

So seeing as that happened the skin today is the Renae skin from Bebae, make sure you go and grab some DEMOS of all the Bebae skins.
The first two items that captivated me in the clothing store-yes they are sold as seperates, and also have fat packs-are the wonderful Vintage Coats and City Slacks.

Just look at the incredible colours that are available in both, and the opportunity for mixing up is fantastic.

The Vintage Coats have wonderful sculptie pieces, including a texture change belt, so that you can make the contrasts for the coats yourself.

I also like the idea of using the cuffs and collar from each coat with another , such as black with red, or red with black, or the heavenly Chocolate and Amber colour- its not called that and I’m not logged in but the pictures are very clear so choosing colours you love wont be difficult.

The City Slacks are just divine too, with their almost metalic sheen in such beautiful colours again, and both pants layers so that the cuffs fit well, or if you want to wear boots, its easy. Again both items have such wonderful colours, that it doesn’t matter what season you are dressing for, you will find ones you love.

Now lets talk Hair shall we, this style is the Jaya style, and its gorgeous, the prim work and textures are just sensational, you get three colours per pack , and the price is 225L, Demos are free so go and try them all , and THERE ARE MENS styles too , YAY for Men. Not allot of hair there yet , but the styles they do have will have you constantly tping over to check for newness.

Now the shoes. Sexy Lotus heels from Adam n Eve, in an assortment of beautiful colours and an incredible High Heel.

Damen Gorilla of Adam n Eve is definitely creating some wonderful shoes, and not just the style overall , but the textures are just divine. I love the mix of pretty and feminine with the lotus flower, mixed in with the raunchyness of that sexy heel shape and platform base.

Definitely a shoe made for getting attention, make sure you go and check out the DEMOS for these asap.

More Delish hair in the form of the Haruka style , a wispy razor asymmetrical style, that would also look yummy on some men.

The Torino Wrap dress is just sooooo pretty, a great cocktail dress for a special event, or just a night out dancing, its sure to impress whatever and wherever you wear it.

Incredible texture work on the wrap itself and the prim belted skirt is delightful. Again and abundance of rich versatile colours. Keep it simple as I have or add some accessories and you are set.

The Kasbah sets have always been so popular at Digit Darkes, but sometimes you really need to see something in action , so here is the Action lol

Ok so I do , I confess, I have a thing for plaid. I love it when its done right, and mixing it up is just fab. This isn’t even a speck of how much I have, but I just wanted to show some new and older pieces that I adore.

This first set is new to me and is from RIDDLE. I found Riddle at the LVS Sim and saw this from a distance and didnt even take the time to walk over, just zoomed my cam in and kaching it was mine.

The set is the Plaid Shorts and Bikini top in Grey and I just love the shorts , they are so yummy and the side pockets are great for carrying all those things you need to keep out of sight.

I am also wearing the Serina Shrug from the Serina dress at Digit Darkes , for a little more coverage but not enough to cover up completely. In all the pics I am wearing the Beautiful Anett skin from Artilleri , this one was a group gift -THANKS ANTONIA ♥ – these are really beautiful skins you need to check out the DEMOS.

Also in all the pics I am wearing the NEW Oracle Sunglasses from TESLA , these are just YUMMY, these ones have colourchange scripts and opacity for the lenses you can control , also they can be worn on the face or up in your hair , which is just awesome , as when talking to people , you sometimes want to make sure you can look them in the eyes without having to detach.

The shoes are Verve from Maitreya and the cute prim legwarmer style socks are as well, they are just adorable looking and seeing as its freezing here right now , it keeps me feeling im a bit warmer lol. The hair is Nikki from AOHARU , I really like this style as it can be formal or casual dressy, depending on the occasion. Byzantine Choker , Medallion set Bracelet and Hair Roses are from Essentia.
The beautiful Draped Belly Chain is from the Fantasy dress at VR Fashion/Fetish.

Next is the Burberries System skirt from Stellar Designs, it comes as a set of different coloured plaid prints and is just lush, not only am I all for the system skirt love, but the wonderful belted waist just draws your attention to that area to keep the look clean and neat, wonderful work.

Going for a more sedate look, this is definitely stylish and elegant for business lunches etc. The latte buttondown shirt is from Awesome Designs. The silk scarf is again by Artilleri.

Hair is the KRC02 from BooN and as you can see this style with the Oracles worn up is just gorgeous.

Now the divine shoes , ones that were only available in the fat pack of Jane shoes from Tesla , are now a feature pack in her lucky chair , so these are definitely worth sorting inventory while waiting for your letter to come up, I adore these and the straps come off as well so two shoes in one.
Salior Plaid kit would have to be one of my ULTIMATE FAVORITES.
Elka Lehane from Boing Fromage that cheesy store 😛 has had these in her shops for an age , and they never date , they are purely and completely gorgeous.

There are three pants in the set, long, capri and these gaucho pants, the gauchos are my favourite. The grey white, semi high waist, double button front style are just heaven.

The cute patent scuffed look – to me 😛 – ballet flats are just wonderful as well , and a classic as this style was rare back then and pulled off perfectly with prims, so make sure you grab some of those when you get the pants.

With that pants I am wearing the MichaMi GlamTank in white, this tank comes in lots of colours , and you have tucked and long untucked options too , which is great for layering oppurtunities.

When a guy I know showed me this hair , I immediately went to Argrace to get it for myself, I mean seriously how could you not, the Beanie with straight hair is just wonderful, and the beanie changes to three different colours on click. I am all for the hat/hair love and Argrace has mastered that look. Not only is the hat fantastic, but the hair and textures are just wonderful too, I can’t wait to see Rica and AIR do more with hair , hat or hatless they are definitely a store to keep visiting.
Lastly the OMG Shirt , ok thats not its official name but it sooooo should be. On one of those tping all over and just finding stores and different places, I came across KING , and focusing mainly on the hair my camera took on a life of its own and on the side of the shop on a small vendor I swept passed this.

Omg I think I strained something trying to get my cam back to find it, and I probably squeeled so loud RL I hurt Fias ears lol.

The koshimaki-shirt-be-jyu shirt is Plaid LOVE! its got stole from the boyfriend written all over it -not literally- the prim work and just the concept of the shirt tied around the waist is just too adorable.

To pick up the colours in the shirt, I went with the beautiful Suede Pants in Burgundy from Celestial Studios, I have to admit though that they are a bit lighter than what I would rate as burgundy but either way they are a beautiful colour and the texture is scrumptious. More hat hair also from CS is the Cowgirl hat/hair in black with the too cute skully on the band.

Popfuzz Tank Top in Black which I love and wear often has such incredible shading , you just want to keep running your hands down it to straighten out the ride up creases, and the cleavage shadow is superb, it totally looks worn off the skin its wonderful. The shoes are actually the foot portion of the Blair boots from Dela , many boots can be worn well with pants cuffs to keep the boots look, just try on the demos with your fav pants to see what boots work for you.

Damen Gorilla of Adam n Eve has created the beautiful shoes called Babii Pumps, a classic style shoe for all sorts of looks. These have been made with incredible detailing in the form of stitching up the back of the heel and the lovely detailing on the foot covering of the shoe itself.

The colour palette is wonderful, so many to chose from, and demos in the store so you can see for yourself the work that has gone into them.

Today I have opted to wear them with the lovely Shift Dress from MichaMi, I love the drop waist look of this dress and the tailored stitching bring it together with the Babii Pumps so well. It is a style of dress you can wear as simply as I have today, or add an abundance of accessories or a nice smart tailored jacket for a business meeting.

A while ago I blogged UnFad Skins, well recently a rebranding has taken place and a move to a larger location. The skins are now under the name of B e B a e Skins and with a new name comes a new Skin Line.
I am wearing the Renae: Tan: N1 & N2 Skin and its just as wonderful as the previous line, with a bit softer detailing and highlights, and as usual the eye make up and lips are just superb. Make sure you go and check out the new location and grab yourself some wonderful DEMOS, also try and do it before the 29th as there is a Grand Opening Sale.

The hair is the wonderful Aimee style from Maitreya, newly textured and changed so subtly to make it just that much better than previously, and yours for the incredible price of FREE!

Many of you will know that Abby Coalcliff and Talyn Barret are very good friends, both have their own stores Devilish Cupcake and Analise.

Recently though Abby has created a marvelous Gown for Analise in the form of the tal-Ab~Silarial.

Now this Gown has been made with Free Women in mind but as its also Elven Inspired it can make sure a beautiful Gown for any formal affair.

In my time in Phils Place I have encountered a few FW of Gor, not too many as where I have worked in the past and present don’t really cater to their needs clothing wise. But I did Google because I wanted to explain what it is that makes this a perfect Free Woman Gown.

“Free Women never show their face beneath the veils or shed their robe or gown in public. She can give subtle hints as to her figure, ideas, emotions, and thoughts without giving complete and full details, this she must learn how to do as well as the teasing/taunting/tempting ways, for they must be done in a way that still allows her to stay free.” insert from HERE.

Now with those rules in place you can see that Abby has achieved that very well, but again as it is Elven inspired the Gown can be worn by anyone, it really does have a fairytale charm to it, especially when you remove the FW layers. The colours are superb and the shape and movement of the gown is wonderful.

I am wearing the Thalia hair from Diversity Hair with this dress and its just a beautiful braided style. The skin -because I am just that corny – is from Free Speerit , and is the lovely Eleania Base skin , a light barely made up skin but with striking eyes that just flutter coquettishly above the veil.
Lastly and I do hope that you make it in time to take advantage.

Wonderful full peasant style skirts with the gorgeous leather belt detailing on the pants layer, and some lovely summery fun tops.

The skirts have such a richness to them its so striking. Hot Summer Night is the brown and pink and the blue is the Bandanai Tears set.

SySy Designs has created some stunning gowns lately, both the Night and Dawn Gowns are just beautiful and today I am showing two of each.

Firstly the Dawn Green Gown showing it two ways, one of which I dont think is the intended way of wearing it , but I couldn’t help but show both options as I believe its appealing both ways, and one or both may just be the look you want.
The textures on these strapless gowns are just heavenly. The curve to the bust area is like petals on a lotus flower , and the wonderful high waisted sash just enhances the slender curves of your body, with the delightful addition of the trailing ribbons once tied at the hip in a lovely bow.

The mix of the colours and black make it elegant and sophisticated for those times when you want an all black gown but just desire that little something extra , this gown is all that.

Once I was removing it I realised the once the skirt layer was removed the Gown looked wonderful with just the small showing of waist , making it very continental in flavour.

The skin as are all of them today , is the NEW Jodie Model Skin by Adam n Eve and YUMMY.

Not only does it have a beautiful face and such softness to the overall detailing of the skin, but the addition of a mole over the left side of the mouth is just awesome. Do not despair though as this skin comes with and without so you can choose whether you want to have a mole that day or not. In all the pics I have chosen with , because YUM!.

The make up choices in this skin are just stunning so you will have to make sure and get your DEMOS asap.

The Jewelry I am wearing with the Dawn Green is the lovely Jade set from Something Different by Fine Delight – how cute is her name. Fine is new to designing and these are her first sets , simple and pretty and the textures on the Jade are just remarkable.

With the Dawn Mauve Gown and again it just looks Gorgeous, I am wearing the N.Y. Beads wood by House of Heart , the dip in the cleavage area is just great for this style of dress, flattering to the eye and draws attention where this Gown wants it to be.

The hair I am wearing with the Dawn Gowns is the lovely Buttercup 2 from Calla a lovely side gathered ponytail with delightful curls cascading down the front, a wonderful style for formal like this or casual.
The Night Ivory Gown and following with the Night Lilac are both again so elegant and stylish.

One strapped Gowns with the addition of the long gloves, this gown has wonderful detailing of antique looking lace around the waist and hemline and at the tops of the gloves , bringing it all in so well, and again adding that little something to an all black gown.

Yes again I couldn’t help myself, I removed the skirt layer , and I just love the look, to me this is a great night dancing with your partner or many wonderful dancers you may spend the evening with….as I am sure looking this fab you will get many offers.

The hair is the Bellflower style again by Calla and just swishy and full in body and length.

The shoes I am wearing for all are the Nana heels from Enkythings which are just stunning silk wrapped open toed mules, divine as a formal shoe or stunning for lingerie and casual settings.

Now something I have been meaning to show you for a while is the Multi Poses Staircase from Studio Sidhe. Faery Sola has created this wonderful staircase for taking pics on. Not only is it menu driven but all of the six poses have been made by Faery herself and until recently she had never made poses, and OMG SHE IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Now I have to admit that its been sitting on my platform since its release last week, and today it was funny because Jaydie Sapeur turned up and asked me why I have stairs to no where – laughs because I’m surprised she asked really as though it was odd :P.

I told her to sit and press and she did and got sooo excited we just had to go get her a set too ♥. Now the reason it has taken me so long to shoot was that I wanted to show all poses without taking 6 pics lol, and the set is menu driven as I said , so that means only one can pose at a time.

But when Jaydie TP’d off to show Chi Junot her partner in love and crime, I had an epiphany. Now there are TWO ways you can do this.

The first is due to the fact that Faery rocks and the set is copy and mod, so you can empty the poses out and use them freehand or make balls etc , which ever makes it work for you. ORRRR you can do what I finally worked out would rock , REZ THREE lol , so I rezzed three we each sat on one posed and then I overlapped them and VOILA Success.

As you can see from Faery’s ad which I ‘borrowed” the poses suit fun and elegant, and I would really love to see some builds with these as their entrances , the price is fantastic and as they are copy you could do your whole sim with them and texture them the way you want.

Preparing for this post made me tear up – yes I am that bad. Yesterday Callie Cline sent me a LM to her Display at SL5B the Celebrations happening in Phils Place for the 5th Birthday Celebrations of our wonderful world.

You see thats the thing, it is Yours/Ours, they aren’t making it up when they say “Your World Your Imagination”. The funny thing, or perhaps the sad thing, is that this whole time I have been here , I never gave that saying enough credit. I like many I am sure , gave it the usual pfft of corny sales pitch and that was about it.

Don’t get me wrong, I am so not jaded about Phils Place, I celebrate I hope its wonder every single day in my own way. But in as I said , preparing for this post I saw that I myself am lacking considerably in the My World stakes.

Callie Cline though doesn’t, and you can see that ten fold in her Dream Display, its wonderful. It embraces everything she has ever done or set out to do in Phils Place. She has kept a running record of every press clipping every single release she has done , all her memories are there amongst what was in the beginning a dream and has become a reality for her and those she loves.

I envy that, and until today and this display I didn’t know that I did. I have done things in Phils Place I am proud of , some people actually know of most of them , some only know a few, and thats fine. Some things I can’t share that I have had a hand in because ultimately they belong to the people that made them happen, and there are others that have openly expressed that I have, and I am always honored when that happens.

But looking at the Dreams display at Callie Clines exhibit at the SL5B I really again admired her strength and purpose here, what she sets out to do she does, and there is no stopping that determination, its exactly what this celebration is and should be, a showing of what people have achieved in their time here, and what it is that makes being a resident of Phils Place so memorable.

Thank you Callie for showing me that, I hope to embrace it and keep it and go on to do and be a part of incredible things.

I hope that you all go and see this exhibit and I hope that you take from it what I have , the want to go through all your things you have made , gathered and been given in your time here , and sort through your pictures and notecards and maybe come up with your own Dreams Exhibit , if for nothing or no one but yourself ♥ You deserve it !.
