Happy Anniversary to the team over at HairOlogy. It has been a great year for hair lovers, and with this month being their birthday, you can benefit greatly with lots of gifts and exciting styles to be found.

The style I am wearing today is one by Iconic for the event, its a very alluring style, and it started off the whole look. Tempting you with the red waves, and enticing you with hints of gold and glamour. This perfect little black dress is by Cynful, and is part of this round of Collabor88. The buttons running down the sleeve, lead to the gold influence, and it all pulled together perfectly from there, the dress has many options, open and closed shirt, and contrast colours via hud, so much dress in such a tiny package. From the very short length, to the tops of these ‘spank me’ stockings by Luxuria…they have beautiful cursive detailing up the lower legs, and then seams to the top, very risque. Slipping the silky gams into these great dancing t-strap shoes by Ingenue, also a C88 release.

I had some luck with the gold and black influences, with this marvelous chandelier by Second Spaces, and then this amazing mirror feature by The Loft and Aria, also from C88 and definitely going to ritz up your abode. With much luck the Doorway prop by VR Foundry is mod and allowed me to set up the scene, open doorway and tint and add some shiny for the gold door and doorway. It comes with poses that are very striking, but I went with some I had from SLC.

Being all about the make it your own, I was looking for art for the walls, and instead came across these recessed ceiling lights by Tarte, search inventory is not so specific, but with some resizing, some tinting and some multiplying the individual light, I gave myself a wall feature. You can have a lot of fun with edit when available on items.

Insolence creator Camilla Yosuke has returned to Second Life, and for us oldbies it is a very happy moment. Camilla is very talented, and her Lingerie was in everyones closet for many years. She was ahead of her time though when it came to skills, having 3d modeling experience already and no ability to use it, with the implementation of sculpties just making for more frustration. Now she has returned, and if her first release Dahlia is anything to go by, we are in for a very seductive ride into the future of this beloved brand.

The piping, underwire detailing is all superb, and I just love the french knickers style of panties for the set. They come in lovely textures in soft delightful colours, and I look very forward to more…hopefully we can convince her to make some playful wear all the time sets too, as running around the grid in underwear has always been a Second Life perk.

The necklace/choker I am wearing is the latest by Mandala. It is featured at this round of TMD, and seriously so so sexy. It comes with a fantastic metal changing hud, and the style, the fit, all of it is just marvelous. Getting my hair out of the way to show off these delights was a breeze, with one of the more recent styles by LeLutka, worn with the hairbase I am still hooked on. The incredible detailing to the floral band of this style is gorgeous, and has texture change options for the colouring. Must have pieces all around today.

I often do editing on my pictures, not in a glamorising them way, but in fixes to issues that occur that may be not seen when shooting, or may not be fixable in Second Life.

The theme this round of Uber has a distinct Military vibe. If you are into that look, you are sorted for the next year of fabulous looks, it is an amazing array of awesome. Not part of Uber but timed very well, is this boiler suit by Rowne that is part of the most recent Luxe Box. You can get info on that from the credits.

The suit comes with different denim options, and is made for many body options, including Slink original and hourglass, making me very happy indeed. I am wearing with it, the adorable high heeled trainer/ankle boots from Breathe that are at the Swag event, and come with options to change elements of the boot, which came in handy to go with the awesome hat/hair by Wasabi Pills.

I always rave on about Hat/Hair, it is my true love. This style by Wasabi Pills at Uber is so awesome and so perfect I have been admiring it for days. It also comes with a without hat option, which is a great ponytail style, but HAT HAIR wins the day. It is also called Jane, which made me giggle at the Military nod on both the hat, and the naming, subtle but I got it.

With all this white and black perfection, I sought out a bag and came across this promo by Illi happening on Marketplace, it has texture change options for the bag and the straps, so white/black combo with ease.

Also perfect for options are the earrings by Mandala, currently at N21, they are just heavenly, and the shape, texture and just all around beauty of the details is Mandala all the way.

I am having a great time with these bunker set pieces by Cheeky Pea, so much fun, the posters are perfect, the lanterns are just wonderful and the crates and sandbags super military influenced, very cool set indeed, great for snuggling while waiting for a cease fire on some RP sim.

Some creators are just geniuses, going that extra mile to realise that not everyone uses SL the same way. SOY at this round of Collabor88 made these amazing Antique Wooden Figures, and had them laying down, sitting on a chair etc…but what they also included was a not fixed version, meaning all the pieces while linked, are in fact separate and modify. So I was able to edit the arm pieces, and rotate them, then rotate the hand and wrist to create a very scary (to me) pat on the shoulder pose…which would definitely scare the beeswax out of anyone just about to take their new puppy for a walk.

The puppy is by Black Bantam, which is an offshoot brand of Pink Acid. The mesh pets they are creating are so cute, and this one has so many options, even including name changing. So based on the wonderful footwear by Ingenue, that is perfectly in season with all that may Bewitch you, they are called Tabatha and so is my Puppy. I loved Bewitched and even the Tabatha series was so fun. Whimsy and I were just saying they should do a now version of it, or go further, and have Tabatha as the Mum of a teenager just getting to terms with her powers and high school – that is something I would watch for ever.

The other day I went on a shopping spree at Lapointe & Bastchild,  some serious clicking occurred. They have newer items including both Physique body options, original and hourglass, so I was buying everything in sight. I picked up these great double belted jeans, and the fatpack has so many options, even includes a belt off options which means they are two jeans in one, with a huge array of colour mixing to be done. You will see more of my spree in future posts.

With the jeans I am going with the beautiful shoulder-less top by SPIRIT , with the long vest like cardigan also by them at this round of Collabor88.  Spirit always creates such wonderful mix and match items, and their style is perfect. The drape of the hair by Exile, perfectly suited the whole ensemble, this hair is gorgeous if you do not have it already, get to steppin.

Walking out of this charming carriage house by Hive, you can see some of the great pieces by Cheeky Pea at this round of N21. The fortune tellers set has these lush oversized chairs, with draped fabrics, and beautiful rugs, its all very textile loving, and even though themed, it is definitely not gimmicky enough to not be able to use many pieces all the time.

The other day I did a post and grabbed bits and pieces needed to fill the space. One item I grabbed was a stool that Whimsy had rezzed out randomly, which I also owned. I did not realise until after the post that I had not included information on the stool. I had saved all information to my notes, and somehow managed to neglect this lovely little stool.

It is lovely, it is actually perfect, the colour, the worn look of it, the industrial themed metal. The height, the shape, everything about it is what one wants from a stool, but I was a horrible person, and did not give it the credit it so rightly deserved.

I logged back in to get the information from the stool and realised that the stool deserved more respect than an edit to a previous post, it deserved its own time in the spotlight. So todays post is featuring the European Taste Stool…a beautiful piece by YS&YS (love their furniture and props pieces) and I hope one that will find its way into your home.

League creator Nena Janus just released some awesome Mid feet strapped pumps. You get lots of great options, whether purchasing the single colours (shoe colour strap or black strap options) or a four pack, like a miniature fatpack ( shoe colour straps + black + a mixed strap – like the one I am wearing) or the fatpack which has all the bases, all the straps, all the mixes and even a leopard base shoe extra bonus option. So much shoe for your dollars.

I was fascinated by the mixed strap options, and surprising to many chose the one with the purple, because the olive green has much love, the blue works so well with my look, and yeah it was rocking. It was fun to also add elements of the green through my what seemed a blue and black look. From my nail polish colour, to the stones in the stunning new necklace by Mandala, that is at this round of N21. Also so many options in the jewellery, with many stone options, metal and leather options, you can mix and match with literally dozens of outfits.

I am wearing a top by Clef de Peau that is at Kustom9 this round and is a very attractive strappy bra top. I did notice that unless your cleavage settings is more separated the mesh can fold in the centre, that is just how mesh can be, so if you to notice that on anything you wear, give the buoyancy or cleavage options a little tweak and it should see you right.

Wearing them with these great leggings that Pixicat have at C88 this round, so many different colour and print options for them, and definitely a staple for this season and all for that matter, good leggings are always a must have item.

Top of the me, is this new hair by Tableau Vivant, that I had fun playing with. The bobbypins change colour with a tinting option so I was sliding all over the colour picker finding my proper blue. Then I decided to go a little more fun with hair colour, opting for the silvery look. Then some smoldering eyes and lips with the new Alyx skin by Glam Affair that just hit the wall in the store. I am gaga over the make up options, it was really a thing settling on the one I ended up with, so make sure you try them all when you demo. I just loved that with all the blue, and silver around me, that the black eyes did come off slightly navy, so it just all works it.

Moved bits and pieces of furniture around, resized pumpkins and had a great time with the two sets by Second Spaces and Pilot at Collabor88…adding in a lovely piece of wall art I got at a Kustom9 Gacha by Haikei.

It is one of a bloggers favourite things to hear ‘ I really like what you are wearing’ when off the posestand and just visiting friends. Even more so when the friend is a creator, and it is as much a testament to their appreciation of good creations, as the creation itself. The outfit was the one in this post, casual but in an elegant way, with the addition of some stunning boots, and gorgeous jewellery.

I am wearing a new skin by YS&YS for LeLutka heads, that is at this round of Shiny Shabby. The skin is lovely and rich, with beautiful make up options included in the hud. I am again wearing my LeLutka hairbase, but with the Vanity Hair release for this round of Collabor88. I did edit in PS a little as I wanted the hairline and strands to blend in with the base used.

The sweater is by Tres Blah and the natural fall of the folds, and the off-shoulder style are perfectly suited to the combination of the look. Adding some leggings to fit into the perfect boots for the season. The boots are by Baiastice, and the heel type is just perfectly suited to the weather. I wanted to dress it up even further, so this necklace by Glam Affair a past Collabor88 item was perfect, such beautiful detailing, even the clasp at the nape of the neck is wonderful.

Whimsy and I went over to Kustom9 the other day, and picked up some delightful decor pieces from a Gacha by Concept, I have resized the mirror and the pot, the pot came really large, and funnily enough when things are smaller I usually stretch them, this time I went the other way. So in love with the chair which is a rare, so cute, so vintage.

When needing to put together a look of a more streamlined professional nature, the combination of Ison and Just Because works well. While not really work wear with the exposed stomach, the style still has a very classy edge to it. The wrap sweater is a beautiful knit piece by Ison, with attention to scale, that can often miss in Second Life. The colour choices are perfect for this time of the year.

Pairing it up with these wonderful editor slacks, I picked them up a while ago when I went fatpack mad over at Just Because. The belt is a separate attachment, which is great for dressing up or down a look. I slipped on these lovely shoes by Empire that are created for the Mid height feet by Slink. They are such cute pointed dance style shoes, a great look for any time of day. Still obsessed with my widows peak hairbase by LeLutka, I added the cassie medium hair attachment, from a previous hairbase release, and found a new love for the look.

The addition of stunning jewelry pieces by Kunglers and I am ready for the day, or night.

Fireplaces in Australia, you would snicker and scoff I am sure. We do have them though, but the thing with fireplaces, is if you rent you are not allowed to use them, and if you own, well who wants the hassle of cleaning them, and having them professionally seen to etc. So unless they are the cast iron detached kind, generally built in fireplaces end up storage. Now mind you, I am yet to actually ever see one this big, because again basing most of our older architecture on England, the fireplaces were tiny little contraptions to just warm a room and could barely store a pair of shoes.

This kind of fireplace is beautiful, and it is a new release by Cheeky Pea. I did like the idea of using it for something other than fire, and seeing as it is already blazing hot outside today, just curling up in the shade of it, with some cool bricks and great books, I would be in my own little bliss. This set was made with readers and collectors in mind, the sides of it are all recessed shelving, and that just gives you more reason to pull out all your knick knack pieces you have collected over the years and make your home more homey.

I am lounging about in my new leather leggings by Addams, with the off the shoulder mid top that fits perfectly under the suspenders of the leggings. Very 80’s dance video wear, and I just love that. Dance movies are my love, I saw there was a Honey 3 movie the other day and lost my cool, Whimsy just laughed at me, mind you she did not know of Honey 1 so she is in trouble. The leggings also have slit knee holes, so they are very fun, and fit the bodies they are made for very well.

So I do not lose track of time in my cubbyhole, I am wearing the latest watch and bangles set by Minimal. I really dig the chunky style of the watch, and it makes it very unisexy. Finishing off the sexy with the gorgeous hair by Mina, that has that perfectly effortless loose side pony look to it, and the textures are so rich and vibrant. The skin is by Glam Affair and is the Shana skin, I have not worn her in a while, and really like the natural look to it, but had to glam it up a bit with some Orchidea lipstick also by Glam Affair, the perfect red for the leggings.
