Classy with a G
James&Dew have done it again. They have given us something we did not know we needed it, until they made it. One of the things about Second Life is that content creators have dreams, aspirations for creations, and then reality hits and you realise often very early that Second Life just does not roll that way. With the implementation of PBR there are a lot of things now that it can roll with, and we are here for it. I think that is the most exciting thing about being an oldbie, having stuck around you get to see the innovations happen, the imaginations pushed a little further, and it is magical. Glass has always been one of those things, we all want windows and glassware, and just something that seems like it should be so simple, but has up to this point been very difficult to reproduce. James&Dew didn’t want to just give us some stemware though, they went to that woohoo place and created a glass brick system, with different varieties of not only that incredible glass brick look, but also various compilations of the bricks so that you can build your own glass brick world. There are also animated waterdroplets versions that are just awesome. I love that with the right build, you could add these to it to go further, that you can create a partition, add a a base for a bar, make columns, insert into window frames, there are only really limits of prim count and your imagination. They have provided very detailed instructions on how to best use them, and how tinting for PBR works…they have even provided the materials so that you can really work well within the product. For me I just wanted to create love to the whole idea of them.
So while at first I was imagining myself in overalls, creating a partially built wall, and ready to make a caulking gun or trowel in blender myself if I could not find one, to pretend I was building said walls, I opted for just a simple communication of love. A glass brick, pixel heart! because sometimes a glass emoji is also a need. See, I told you they give us things we do not know we wanted.
The whole look ended up going from there, and Lode always makes that easier, their flower hair accessories are divine, and these petal tears from another LODE set are gorgeous. They actually came with a huge oversize hat and create a mourning look that is just so extra. I added these gorgeous Sigma earrings and then decided that this Natasha set by Just Because worked so well in this stunning green that it brought up the green in the flower stems and created a stunning balance.
Then with the stunning shoes from Breathe that have metal work of roses that match the whole vibe at the sides, it was a look for a perfect date, a stunning evening filled with possibilities.
