Hair Fair closes in a few hours at Midnight and traditionally that makes today Bandana Day where we wear bandanas to show support for those that have lost their hair or parts of their hair. Hair Fair donates a percentage of all purchases made to Wigs for Kids and the bandanas are a big part of that, with 100% of all purchases going to the charity and they are 50L each (Hair Fair Hares are 100L)  and they are created by people from all over SL not only the Hair Creators participating.

Bandana day is a great tradition and many wear them and have parties and the like, they are transferable so you can buy a bunch and share them amongst your friends. I hope that everyone has enjoyed Hair Fair this year I know I have, and I look forward to seeing you all again next year :).

Of all the hair that I got during Hair Fair 2018 this is the last post, the last part of the Blonde Sim. That was an exciting week, four sims worth of hair and pictures, it made it really fun and gave me a chance to wear a lot of things I haven’t done in a while or not at all as they are brand spanking new. Older items though need to point out that Fishy Strawberry is CLOSING DOWN…no set closing date as the land is for sale, but everything is 25L so you really need to get over there and shop for your alts, yourself and maybe kidnap some new people on your way over.

I also got the chance to really use my Axis Face HUD by LeLutka that I had not had the time to really run through its paces as it was released just as I dove into Hair Fair preparation. Best way to have used it too, to be able to give some life to my avatar while looking at myself as my other self, you get the jyst. It is a great hud also for doing pictures with others, as you can control up to four avatars, and save what you do to them so you can repeat it if needed, much fun.

The Tukinowaguma hair has many style hud options in the Arce style and those buns are adorably sexy, then the gorgeous side slung hairstyle actually is a double-sided style but you have the sweep to one side option and the mirror of the version, so that is all win.

Mina decided that she was going to launch her latest additions to her texture options with Hair Fair and she nailed it, the styles are marvelous Frankie had me singing that 80’s hit, and the newer options are soft and just lovely, filling in all needs you have for Mina hair. There is also a gift in the booth in a full fatpack that means you can try the new textures options and find something new for you, or something that you may not have known you wanted until now.

Tram never lets me get very far whether they do long or shorter styles and this year the shorter styles nail it. Not only are they gorgeous, but they have that really relaxed vibe about them and in some looks even look naturally just air dryed and fabulous.

Eliavah is a newer to hair store, usually clothing is their go to, but they did an amazing job on their styles the feathery softness of textures, the inbuilt hairline and so many options in that pony style, they come with or without materials options too.I just really had to wear with them the newer dress release by Baiastice, this dress is smoking hot it even comes in sheer versions and is at Fameshed.

Lastly we have Pr!tty, which did three styles with some having unrigged or rigged options, they all also come with this intricate little headband, as a separate attachment and the hair is so soft and of course pretty. I like how they have medium roots, heavy roots and rootless, the word rootless just made me laugh a little too long. The headband actually lead me to my Fishy Strawberry Dismay Princess outfit.

I tpd over to Hair Fair and was greeted by the lovely Tekila who had read my post and was on their way to try the God’s Plan hair by Vanity Hair, well that just made my day all gooey and awesome! Then I ran down the middle of the Blonde sim to grab some styles that I had not picked up in time, and am sharing those with you now.

Cheveux has been doing hair fair for many years now, and his booth and styles this year are just great, I especially like the windswept hair that is non rigged so if you need to move it a little to get the hair out of your face – literally – you can.

Tableau Vivant did a mix of hair add-on styles, full styles and hairbase appliers in their selection this year, and some male hair as well, it was all in for TV. I decided that I could not resist giving Halo the full picture space and it needs it, this hair is huge. I did, however, match it up with the Lelutka hairbase applier just to give me a little bang for my buck. The hairbases come also with omega appliers and there are many variations for the length of bang in ascending order of length. I went with the longer fronted ones, and the side part is so cool – not visible.

Fashionably Dead catered to my hat hair love, Toast never disappoints anyway but making me two styles of Hat Hair is just all love for me, but I will let you wear them too. The hats have multiple colour options and I adored the style of hats, so cool with these jackets, and any wintery goodies coming our way in the next few months.

Amiable does not make hair often, and I am glad she has returned to it, as these heavier thicker styles are adorable, and can be as sexy as you want them to be, or the complete other way as cute as needed. Navy & Copper another big return for us, left me reviving the 80’s with Whimsy with the teased up bangs look. I did incorporate some more hairbase design by Just Magnetized in this picture, these hairbase styles are just so much fun and really change the look of hair. I did have to do a bit of editing the blend of hairbase to hair for these styles but that is only as the hair was no mod, you can play around with alpha sorting issues with hair if mod, and the hairbase is definitely a must have.

Ayashi is known for very anime-inspired looks, and while I am sure that Lightning is probably a character of some sort, all I could think of was the little sister in Gossip Girl that went on to be a rockstar. I am also loving the big hair and bows of the second style.

The last sim of the event for me featuring this years Hair Fair styles is Blonde. So many great creators spanning all four sims, I cannot wait to go back through the event and catch anything I missed first few rounds, as well as stock up on my Hair Fair Hares and Bandanas.

Beautiful styles and some so intricate they were breathe taking, such is the case of the Calico style, this has so many variations with a styling hud, braids front left and right or back only or none and just an amazing braided bun, it really needs to be tried on yourself to see how amazing it is.

I am so loving the Vanity hairstyles also, and on the Back to School do which also has a duo option for texture so you can Harley Quinn that all over the place, I added the Avada hairbase they did that covers many heads and omega as well. They even did some patterned options, for males or female.

The styles Argrace have done are wonderful as always, and this style specifically made me think of Brigette Bardot, so I dressed for it. They also have a Male style and they just recently redid their whole store, so I have to go check that out too.

Barbie named hair had me thinking if I was going to be a Barbie doll which Barbie doll would I be, and I decided Mermaid Barbie, just to see what they would do as add-on accessories for that. The hairpiece jewellery is hud controlled for colour and on or off options, there is also left and right HUDs for hair colour, so you can duo, or just use the same on both sides, up to you.

The dead straight looks of the Opale hair have me very happy, I love waves and curls and all the other things, but dead straight was always such an achievement in SL hair, that it is always something I am very fond of, plus I used to straighten my hair often in RL and just love it.

Brunette was a whirlwind of activity and so much so that two booths got combined beautifully into one. This year Hair Fair had hairbase creators included in the mix and we were lucky to have Izzie’s join the event. She created a mix of appliers for various heads, as well as including baked on mesh layers for when that goes live, she is thinking ahead (pun pun pun). I am wearing the two LeLutka babyhairs appliers with these great styles by Phoenix.

Both styles have so many this side, that side behind and so on options with their great styling HUD, as well as bangs a plenty. Due to the babyhairs options available to me though, I went with no bangs and just rocked out the hairbases and style together to form a gorgeous combination.

The next styles by Sintiklia with again so many variation options this time as separate attachments gave me a chance to duo tone my do. I added left and right bangs, wisps and then the front bangs I applied colour to separately and created a whole other look. Adding some hairsticks from 2006 because it has been a long time since I have worn these beauties, and love how it came out.

enVogue did not let me down with these amazing styles and I will not lie as soon as I could get my hands on Marsella I was wearing it for at least the 18 seconds it took me to get to the next booth lol seriously I love that style and cannot wait to actually wear it off a stand, that goes for all of them, but as mentioned before I do love Hair Fair time of year where I do wear the hair to feature it all instead of my purchases getting lost in my inventory.

Lastly, for Brunette, the KMH booth had this twirly tails style I could not resist either, and was speaking about how mesh has really given us a big waves and curls thrill and more so as people just got better and better at mesh manipulation, I look forward to seeing so much more going forward.

I was feeling the things are not always as they seem vibe in this post, because some of the styles at Hair Fair this year really had so much more to offer than at first glance. With styling HUDs as mentioned, different sizes and breast options for fit, then you have add on flyaways and all sorts of things going on.

I also find that sometimes an ad really has you thinking one thing about a style and then you put on the demo and BAM it just takes you on a whole other adventure. That is the best thing about an event like Hair Fair, it gives you the chance to try it all and really come to your own conclusions about a style.

Exile has so many gorgeous looks with the styles they have on offer, and I am only showing two, but the Mysterious style I thought I was going to be all about the curls version and believe me it is hot hot hot, but it was the waves that really made me embrace my inner Denise Richards.
Rama Salon is always pale blonde packs for me, with the roots options you can get some really fun looks, and I really love these long locks.

The booN style threw me, so cutsie and adorable looking in the ad, but on it just made me so enamoured with it, and I could not leave it behind, plus their booth is a shrine of awesome, I was actually stealing away and sitting in there all Ommmmm during set up when no one was watching, but honestly a shrine to hair, so called for, realistically that is what Hair Fair is.

Lastly the booth where the ads had me thinking one thing and then the hair another was Liquid Moon, not only are the names of the styles just fantastic, but WOWZA…the ads are all Catholic Schoolgirl and then on me it was all Attitude and Rawr on roids.

I was having fun on the redhead sim going around and out, I like how it loops and then fans out again. It is also a good starting point sim. A lot of fun styles there also, and some great hat hair, which is always a big win for me. Especially with the ASO hair having so many options of colour for the delightful berets. Also rocking out the Elijah hair by Loft & Tuft their whole booth is Unisexy and again lots of colour options for the beanie.

Some great shorter styles too,  with BMS doing some gorgeous hair that would also look great on kids, male or female, need to check that out, so thick and heavy too, love it, could be a Beatle or a Monkee.

Redhead also has some great Male styles and applier options for head and facial hair for men, so if you have been looking start there. Remember these are just the styles that I grabbed and some more than shown by each store, demos abound in both the demo group and the booths themselves.
