One of my favourite things about Hair Fair is that we get to see newer creators fit in right alongside older ones, giving a true mix of talent across the four sims. One of the newer creators this year is ADE and while new to Hair Fair and Second Life, hair creation is not so new with him being a talent from The Sims that many may be familiar with. He is not only a talent but a really nice and kind person, and that makes me very happy to have met him through this event. His styles are glorious, fit so well and the hairline work is gorgeous, he also does hourglass fitting so I am just in bliss mode.

Each year the returns are like a reunion for us, seeing past creators come back time and time again, or they may miss a year or two due to RL and then come back, it makes us happy to know that the event means something to everyone in that way. some have gone back to their roots like Clawtooth in his vintage inspired styles this year.

Emo-tions has some amazing mixtures of style, the Kaya hair has bangs options, feathers and headband that is all separate but my inner Cher had to pile them all on. Then going way back, sort of a time machine round, the F&M Oblivion hair is just amazing, with the hairnet snood style just bringing out my inner wenchy princess girly person.

Wrapping up my run at the Noirette Sim at this year’s Hair Fair 2018. so many styles so many wonderful options with those styles, and some great male hairs that while not shown definitely need your attention.

Some great vintage looks, with some great edge. I love Hair Fair as I get to wear all the styles I buy in the two weeks of the event, it is deeply satisfying, also means that every purchase donates to Wigs for Kids, so that just makes it even more awesome.

I also had a great time styling for each hair store, also running over to Sn@tch to pick up some pieces to finish the looks. The great off shoulder top by Ison with their newer jeans just had me feeling very girly, and playful, while the bun style from Iconic was made to also use with a hair attachment piece by Narcisse I decided to go casual but you should check that out in their booth. I do like that updos with various options can go from elegant to casual and all the in-betweens.

The Adoness styles are amazing they have these extra sideburn pieces that are just so cool to really add to the shaved look style, the hairs come with a basic shaved applier, but you can also buy an elaborate shaved base featured in their ads in their booth. I am actually wearing my LeLutka default hairbase with the Beanie hair and it worked so perfectly highlights wise, I look like I am BedRocking Betty 🙂

Running across the sandy spaces, to another row of the Noirette sim, this time featuring No.Match, Kokolores, BonBon and Decoy. Now between No.Match and Kokolores is The Barbershop and their booth does not let down their brand at all, it is wonderful in there and the hair for Men is great, I especially love the included sunglasses on top of head option that one of them has, so you definitely need to check that out and I wonder if we can convince him to make a girly version :).

Many more styles than shown but these are ones that I personally grabbed, I want to point out that some have styling huds, some don’t and there are gifts in some of these stores also. I also want to point out that the gown in the decoy picture is standard sizing and I am using the Slink Petites augment attachment to fit my chest in there 🙂 how cool is that, opens up so many opportunities that alpha does not do.

The sims are less packed now through the day, so you can shop with ease, return if you have been already and there are so many beautifully decorated booths that it is really just kind of nice to stroll around and look. I again had a great time with the Axis Face HUD by LeLutka giving myself different looks for the styling of the pictures.

Hair Fair is in full swing and with every purchase made a portion goes to Wigs for Kids, so it is definitely the time to not only stock up on great hair for yourself but also to makeover some alts or create alts, whatever you like, spruce up those store models and so on.

I shopped hardcore and was aiming to do a sim at a time but ended up 8 pictures in and thought, I think I might just separate by row if there is enough to show. So starting with the far right side of the Noirette sim of styles that I got, and sometimes more than two but was loving my couples shots of two girls same outfit, that is what friends do right. I was also having way too much fun with my Axis Face HUD by LeLutka, this thing is amazing, with each individual bone on the face being controllable, you can save options you like and just give so much detail to a face now for photography, it works with all bento enabled heads, looks may vary, but it is a must have for anyone that enjoys photo taking in SL.

So many of the hairstyles at the event have style huds, some fitted hair some unrigged, some short styles that can be unisexy some long styles the same. With style huds that put the hair behind the shoulders, do not give that a miss if you like long hair and are male you never know. There are so many male styles this year too, and there are ♂ icons above the booths that contain them, they are not only male booths some are a mix of both genders.

I hope you all take a spin around the four sims, visit the bandana booths, grab this years Hair Fair Hares, they are adorable. Everything supports Wigs for Kids, and if hair is not your thing then you can also drop some lindens in the donation kiosks around the sim.

Everything is ready for the buying and it is all donating a percentage to Wigs for Kids, if you are not in need of new hair then you can also make a donation using one of the kiosks at the event 100% of which will go to Wigs for Kids. Bandana Booths are also located on each sim and donate 100% of all purchases.

It is hours away from opening to the public and it is exciting in a huge way 🙂 Hairstyles are tremendous and the demo group is overflowing with things to try
