I have been popping back and forth to the For Stephanie Fun Fundraiser over the past few days, picking up bits and pieces, and bidding on an Auction piece. I got this very pretty girly dress, and the colour choice is great with the navy and the grey. I wanted to make it a little downplay on the cocktail look of it, and go more for a wear it when I want to vibe with these so cute shoes by sYs. Today is the last full day of Shoetopia so make sure you run over and do another run through to grab what you haven’t already.

The shoes have lots of options to change various parts, and my favourite part is the chain anklet like part that just is there and way cool, and a little punky. So with that in mind I stretched my arm into my inventory and stretched back out again with these great new Stretched ears by Mandala.

These are too cool, and have so many options I was changing HUD panels and getting more and more excited on every click. There are not only three types of ears, human, pixie and elf, but also various sizes of stretch, which can be plugged or tunnels. Then you have the tattoo tips and on the inner part of the ear, which I have turned off but the tips look so cool with the different styles. Then you have about a billion textures to choose from with the plugs, the tunnels and the metals of the piercings, you can also hide or show all attributes, and have materials options for everything, so I have materials on for the piercings and wow they shine so beautifully.

Now I am not a plugs stretched ear kind of girl, lets be honest…but I have always loved Mandala ears, and these just take what we already love to another level. I do admit also that the longer I had them on, and the way they were so easy to skin match to, I was falling deeper and deeper into them, so may just be stretched for a bit.

Speaking of Skins, Lumae has just released the Elvi skin, and while it is not promoted as LeLutka applier based, it has Omega and the fit is superb. I really like the look of the skin, and I am wearing the Izzie’s brows still because I just like them loads too. They actually fit over the top of Lumae’s brows perfectly without any need for no brows options, but there is that too, as well as many colour choices. Lumae has always been a store that provides all you can need, and if you do wear other heads than the ones this says it is for, and you have Omega give it a try, it is great.

Another item I got from For Stephanie Fundraiser is this Conservatory build, so nice and with some cheeky pea pieces it made such a great outdoor cafe style space. The white things in the ground with the plants are actually walls that I sunk down, so versatile, and the Umbrellas are clickable to be folded closed or open and shielding you from the sun…you need those so much got to keep the harmful rays at bay.

More more more more more…that is what I was singing all day today, because these shoes are delightful, they were a definite must have at this round of Shoetopia. They are by Rebel Hope and they have different options in the HUDs when wearing the fatpacks. Such sturdy strappy platforms, that can see you into all the summer styles coming to the grid.

This beautiful gypsy top by Addams is a collaboration piece with Blueberry, that is stunning and so versatile. The colours just pop and the lace and overall detailing make for a very feminine look. I paired it up with a Coco skirt that is at this round of Fameshed. The asymmetrical skirt is actually black but comes up with some bluish to it especially when worn with blue.

I am a brows girl, I love that we have the option to change ours very easily thanks to the options that are out there. Izzie’s just released 5 new brow styles for LeLutka heads, at this round of Uber, and I love them all, not only do they look divine with this Daphne skin that is also Izzie’s but they fit over another skin I have without needing to change to a no brow skin at all. So if you have any that you have been unable to swap with, maybe check these as an option, or just because they are great, because that works too.

Cheeky Pea is always creating some lovely sets at different events, and I usually love combining different parts of one with others, but now she went as far as to also create an essentials set, which comprises of some curtains, bookcases and shelves, which is just wonderful when you need to just add a little something. I used the curtains over these large doors of the build and it completely changed the look. Then adding some of the recent Cheeky Pea release with this awesome nautical inspired pieces, I think as a Pisces this would be my RL at every opportunity.

I did not realise until I was done with the pic and laying it all out, that I did an almost identical colour palette to the prior post, and have been really feeling my safari colours it seems.

Cureless has released this lovely crop top for the Slink Petites Augment wearers with their Slink Physique bodies. It fits both bodies and Petites options and comes in a wide range of colours and either cotton or vinyl options. Other than the amazing style of the top, and the awesome materials that just made me really get into the fabric options, it is also mod, allowing me to tint the beige option just a tinge more to warm it up towards the colour of my boots.

Because the top has some great under-bust, I went with a Pink Fuel skin because her body appliers have a smaller breast option for less shading, which looks so much more natural with the Slink Petites – they also come with matching skins to the bodies huds with less shading. In keeping with the Pink Fuel I actually opted for one of their Omega applier based skins which Ashia likes wearing, and looks great on Bianca a LeLutka head I do not wear often, she has so much conviction and character I have to make sure that my overall look carries that home, and today it definitely did.

Speaking of carries, how cute is my bag, it includes all the things I need for a shopping expedition, and then some, also it goes wonderfully well with my boots that are at Shoetopia, and the same creator of the bag and my skirt…all Ison and all gorgeous. I actually had a bag like this in the 90’s but black and clear, I once got stopped by Security and asked to check my bag, I stood there looking at them a bit dumbfounded then said ‘ you can look THROUGH my bag’ and walked out – I have always been Sassy – honestly why ask to look into a bag that you can see into without asking.

These ankle boots are awesome, they not only have a great style to them, they are for mid height feet – I was actually really impressed with a lot of Mid height feet styles at this round of Shoetopia, or in my case Deluxe feet that has them all in one – then the open sections of the boots revealing some skin, sexy right.

I kept on with the metal options of the buckles and bag clasps into some really chunky silver jewellery by Mandala, and then with the perfect hairstyle by Tableau Vivant that has options for where you want to wear your hair, being able to let it fall behind the shoulders just showcases the top and the necklace perfectly.

I was really into the fun of taking these pics today, so much so that I made the placement background from scratch just because I was all in. I made the cork the board, the pins and the swatches, I am so chuffed right now, as sometimes it is not just using Photoshop for photo-editing that you should play around with, but really playing with all the features, little by little things come together.

A bit like items in Second Life, Why don’t people just click every button? or try on every item etc in something they purchase that may be a bit more feature driven than something like putting on a shirt. One of the things that made Second Life grow in the first place was creative curiosity. I had a friend who if we were standing still for any amount of time, and he could rez, would start manipulating prims to such a degree that he made jewellery that was so minute and detailed and not once did he use an alpha cheat trick or anything else to get the items as small as they could go. Hair creators were often people that edited their hair so often to make it fit, or reshape it across a shoulder, or just wanted to look a little different than their friends, then went on to create from scratch – mind you this was when things were made in world. It is like me learning software when managing stores in RL, I would just sit and click and sub-menu click and so on until I found things that would never be so visible normally. Only one time did I have to call IT after of course switching it off and on again.

So other than all the lovely floral parts of my post, it is about taking the time to sit down somewhere nice in SL, and cam on yourself or the items and try the huds, each section click away, if smoke starts wafting in then stop, and unpack another. We live in the day of copy and unpacking and redelivery, so if it is copy, and you can unpack another, or just make a copy first if you are worried, get to know those things you liked enough to purchase, see what you can do with it and really get your enjoyment out of it and appreciate also the effort that goes in to making all those things happen.

Breathe has made some divine footwear,  not only for Shoetopia which are the middle and right shoes, but also Fameshed that are the ones on the left that look like kitten whiskers 🙂 so cute. I was also on a mission the other day for a tutu and came across this older dress by Amiable, now often with the fast pace of SL and bodies etc, I don’t get time to go back and revisit older clothing that was prior to fitted and this came up the other day and I was like so excited, as there was no possible reason I cannot wear this dress, I only had to alpha out my upper chest.

I hope you like all the lovely spring looks for the day, the weather is still so incredibly warm down here that it feels right for once all over the world, but then in the US it is snowing in some places, so go figure.

Shoetopia opened its doors the other day and I went running around barefoot in shorts – worked out you have to wear shorts to Shoetopia because of the chance of thigh highs – and a top and so much excitement.

I landed straight away and did my rows, I have this left thing, and I have to start at a point of return that makes sense to me, I do not zig zag, so difficult to know what is going on when you weave to and fro. This event makes it easy, I did the 4 extension rooms first,  then ended back at the start with the sponsors and bought up a ton of footwear. I got so many shoes that one set I wore yesterday and kept the HUD on just to change colour every four or so minutes so that I could wear them all.

These ballet pointe inspired boots are by Slink and they work with the Slink Pointe feet or Deluxe, and if you have on Deluxe the feet will automatically change – wish more shoe creators would use that slink script for that so much ease of use – to the feet needed. If you fatpack – and why wouldn’t you – you can change all aspects of the boots, if single colour you can change the eyelets and heel/sole colours with the HUD, but fatpack lets you change laces too. I kept it black today, because I was feeling hell spawn.

How cool are these amazing wings and horns I picked up from Neo Japan, another event on at the moment and definitely so many great items. I got taken there by ColeMarie Soleil after we ran into her at Fameshed. It was a very big shopping week. Pose Fair is another event on and I got these poses by GingerFish there, how cool is that as a name.

The background is great it is a gacha item at Pose Fair and at the price you just want to keep playing them all, so perfect for photos.

I also went by The Liaison Collaborative and shopped hard as well, I ran around so many times though that courtyard style is kind of adorable and fun to skip around, that I got a little motion sick, and had to recline on my fainting couch. Ok so it was just my couch, but I definitely have had to do that more than once in my years in SL, I tend to get motion sick a lot when being silly.
