First time I have ever ridden a skateboard and not had the pavement become one with my head/face. I am so in love with this Skateboard, that as you can see I fatpacked like a champion. The one I am riding has POSER written on the bottom, which was just too funny.  The long-boards come as wearables, rezzables and wall decor as shown. They also include an AO that makes it a completely ride-able piece of awesome. I have been meaning to get over to the beautifully conceptualised Knot&Co. event,  that is a summer long event that runs through the summer which is almost over. Some amazing items to get, and if you have group space there are some divine gifts by Anya Ohmai and others you can get your hands on.

The timing could not have been better either, giving me a chance to give my new sneakers and legwarmers a run around town. Blueberry just released these at her mainstore, and they come with many options. These are the short legwarmers, the long are high up the thighs. Lots of combinations to choose from if you get all,  but you also get laces options with the single colour purchases. The sneakers also come in flat or high feet options, giving you some fun looks. Also wearing a recent release skirt by Blueberry that has ripped hem options and a belt on or off option. So much fun to mix up your looks depending on your need for the day.

Getting all sporty is fun, combining some great new Exile hair from Collabor88 with a visor from little llama…then wearing one of the new suede tops by Coco. Once all fabulous, I decided to stretch my skater chick muscles and do some tricks off a ramp. Lucky I had these awesome plastic dining chairs by The Loft available, because they are easier to clean off if you happen to land on them and hurt yourself…this is needed in items you plan on jumping over. The chairs are part of a stunning dining set at C88 but I was being very cheeky using them this way, but you do what you have got to do to get some air some days.

Speaking of cheeky, I did draw in some of the hair in the air shot, because it looked more natural to have it flying all over the place with me.

You know I would have imagined that I would have used this blog title in the past, I mean seriously so obvious. I guess I didn’t want to be that corny, but today I am frolicking in the field of corn. Mel joked that maybe I didn’t use it, because people may think I did not take the pic – Milli Vanilli not being the singers and all that jazz.

Today I had to reinstall my Windows, and wow what a process, thanks to Mel or I would be on the floor crying. It is astounding how much we have installed on our computers just to function. Also all the things you take for granted, like making sure you save bookmarks or whatever you need to do, or save your macros, all things I forgot to do. All those little installations we take for granted too, like having Gyazo at the ready, or also making sure you have a back up of your Second Life settings, thankfully I had one from January, so that at least meant my wind lights and favourites were all sorted.

Anyway, I will get it all thoroughly sorted and might just clean up some things on my way.

I was hanging out at home with Mel and decided that these very cool pants by Just Because would go superbly with the Rain Hat I got the other week at Gizza, because well, it is a hat, and if you have payed attention you will know I have must hat love in SL. I was able to resize it to fit at the back over this hair from Yse, that I knew would be close enough to the head to not make the hat look silly.

The shoes, fantastic combination options with the fatpack by Garbaggio, at this round of C88 all came together, now just needed a shirt, and well Gizza came to mind again and these Rodeo shirts are just fantastic, and the fatpack of all the variations was a great price, so MINE!. Now it is a bit risque on its own, but with the addition of this great halter top applier by Sn@tch I was in great shape.

I have had this little bench house thing rezzed at home for a year now, waiting to blog in it, and today was the day, so I decided Mel had to search his inventory for his rain system and there you go, done and just waiting until it gets a bit dryer so I can shop more…

I was checking out a new to me event earlier today, The Coven. I really liked some of the pieces I was able to get my mitts on, and especially this fantastic necklace by Schadenfreude. It is based on a Ouija board and is so gorgeous, with the enamel look and its very rock-a-billy retro on the dark side vibe. It has matching earrings and I had to get the fatpack even though the black is my favourite, it is just too gorgeous to leave parts behind.

Another accessory piece is this lovely bracelet by Dahlia, now this was such a cool selling point, you could try the HUD at the vendor, as there was one rezzed so clicking it changed the items…Other accessories people need to do this too, as a rezzed hud can be clicked by anyone to control the item that it was rezzed for, so this is a very simple way to show your customers that not only are there options, but how cool they look. I am sure this would depend on prim limits, but it very much sold the item for me.

Now I love me some Mutresse as you know, and their release for this round of Collabor88 is delightfully feminine. There are two pieces, the top was more showing than I usually wear, so you will have to take my word for it being lovely lace and a beautiful addition to your wardrobe. But regardless of how the top may or may look, the shorts are all win for me. The style is adorable, but its the soft petal like shape and texture work that just had me swishing all over my platform. The HUD allows for customisation colours wise, and while I did think about just doing the tie white to go with my top, I thought, why not the band too. I would also have the option to change the panels of shorts, so there are many options of wear.

The top is also at C88, and is by Flowey. It comes in three different options, at first I was all sold on the metallic, but then got all happy with the vinyl. There is also latex, but I did not get that far, because I was just loving the materials shine and everything about the white in the vinyl option. It also lead me down to the peep toe mary janes by Baiastice. These have a mottled plastic heel and sole, as the theme for this round of C88 is Plastic Fantastic, and it most certainly is. It is also their Birthday month at Collabor88 so a big Happy Birthday to all those involved in this event, as it has been making the masses happy for many years now.

Another event having a birthday was Uber, so they invited each designer to add a guest to their section and it made for some lovely mixes. This hair is by Mina and she was a guest of Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil. The event has finished for the month, so you will need to get to Mina to get the gorgeous Molly Hair.

The skin I am wearing is by YS&YS also at C88, and she comes with freckles and moles and brow options and make ups, and if that is not enough make up, there is more make up to buy. I am wearing the skin with one of the gorgeous NEW heads by LeLutka called Spencer, this is one of my two faves of the four released, I like all four, but Spencer and Greer are my torn between two lovers kind of thing.

I think that with this very girly girl look, Glamping was right in my wheelhouse, and my Glamping Yurt is by Scarlet Creative and there are a few different fabric options to choose from. I threw in our slumber party mattress by Winx and Flair just to have something in there, but a Mosquito landed on it, so I packed up my gorgeous luggage set by Black Bantam and I am Audi 5000 baby…CIAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The NEW LeLutka heads are coming! and for those that have existing LeLutka bento heads, they will also be getting updates to all the new features. So there are so many reasons to be excited about what is coming next Tuesday 8th August.

I am wearing the New bodysuit by Narcisse, created in such a way as to wear it as a top only, by turning off the lower portion. It is so beautiful and so many features, with options to change the edging and sleeves, sheerness and so on, so much to play with, so you must demo it at this round of Uber and buy them all.

I will do more about the heads in coming weeks, but at the moment this is a glam shot 🙂 just because. Releases of new heads also means new expansion skin packs for each head by Glam Affair, as each head has its own default that can be used across the range. Then you can purchase the complete skin line.
