So many exciting things, Maitreya has released Lara, a full mesh body with hands and feet included. You also get appliers lingerie by Zaara, as well as mesh lingerie by Maitreya included. For those that are Glam Affair skin wearers this body is going to make you very happy indeed, as all the skin presets are the Glam Affair skin tones. There are also other stores making skin appliers, and many more to come.

For Slink hands and feet, do not despair, because this body works with those too, just wear the XS sizes and you are good to go instantly.

There are a lot of great things going on with the huds, feet are all one item, so you just choose which style you want to wear. Nail polish presets are also included, but for those wanting more, there will be nail appliers you can purchase. I have made some for my store Flair already , and you can also pick up a gift set from either the store or Marketplace, so that you can play around and see how it all works.

The body is on the smaller side I have noticed, so fitting to mesh clothing should be a breeze, and of course if your shape is already standard sizing, you shouldn’t have to worry about anything. It is fitted to the body though, so you can alter if needed. The alpha hud has many options, so it will just take practice. You can also minimise the hud, so that you don’t take up your screen with it, but can keep it on if you change clothing a lot.

Now ever since the release of the leggings/boots all in one set that Maitreya did as one of their first mesh items, everyone has been all about their bums, and this body has accentuated that love for many – I so wanted to put ss there instead of cc – it has that Maitreya shape that we all know, and I am looking forward to many more clothing options for it. You can also apply for a kit to create for the Maitreya Body, visit their website for that information. There is also a group gift out of some footwear that will work with the feet, so slip them on for the new year, and you won’t need much else.

I am wearing a wonderful dress by Emery that is at this round of C88, and it has that very mod look of the 60’s about it, so it was perfect with the updated for body wear Thigh Boots by Maitreya also. The hair tied the whole look together, with its high pony and cascading curls by Analog Dog. It is called bangers, and it has 3 bang attachment options, so three styles in one. I am hoping more stores do that in future, it was a big thing for stores to do in 2007 – 2008 but died off, so yay for it’s return.

I have on my slink head, Visage, and because of the expressions hud allowing me to turn off the ears, I ran over to The Mens Department – I wish they would list in search as their proper name, not TMD it is not easy finding them if you do not know of such options – and got the NEW Mandala ears. I had seen them in the past, previous releases, but kind of put them in the ‘for other people’ basket…if you knew the kind of things that went in that basket it may just curl your toes.

The hud is incredible, you get different options of ear types – I KNOW! WHO KNEW YOU WANTED SO MANY TYPES? Mandala that is who – and they all come with gorgeous texture options tips wise, or not, metal options for pierced or not, gem texture options and skin bases or tinting – for the more fantastical of us all. They are such a great price too, so honestly even if you think you have a basket like mine, you need them anyway, they are awesome.

The stool I am sitting on in the pic is by The Loft and also had just a perfect Mod feel to it, I loved the style and can totally imagine them in a really cool bar setting. Pubs have gotten so upmarket these days, that this would definitely be in place in any stylish location and setting.

I was able to put together this look with the help of the latest release by Glamistry. Their shoes have wonderful options for mixing and matching contrast colours, and the metal embellishments, so that it all came together beautifully. The shine in the shoes, perfectly worked with the amazing sheen to the pants made by Zaara and the stunning scarf from Baiastice that is part of this months C88.  The combination making the outfit really work well together, and tying in with the NEW cardigan made with a Slink Physique option by Blueberry.

Blueberry has made the cardigan with our without a tank dress option as part of the one piece, and while that is a quick wearable with ease item, the cardigan on its own has an abundance of looks that will be possible to create with it, from something a bit more styled like this one, to just wearing a favourite pair of jeans and a tshirt. The detailing in the texture and the modeling work on it is lovely.

Epoque has been releasing hair lately, which is out of the blue, and I am loving this high braided bun style, that is just very novel and sophisticated. It is always great when Epoque releases, as they definitely have a style I enjoy.

David Heather is having a SALE so I went back and picked up this bag that I had in other colours, but wanted to see if they had a beige that would work with this look, and they did, so if you are a bag lover, it is definitely the sale for you, as well as all the other goodies.

So yesterday was a Linden meet & greet at a great sim called Frisland. It is a wonderful wintery themed sim, and I really enjoyed the company of so many Residents, Lindens and some familiar faces of both. Before it started I took a quick spin around the island with Whimsy, who had to leave early, and took a snap in my not so wintery, but maybe just a little bit, look.

I was dying to wear my new sweater and shirt all in one from Gawk that I picked up at the Winter themed event we went to the other day. The great thing is that Gawk is having a 40% off gift cards sale – hopefully still on – so we ran over to the store, bought some cards, redeemed them, and then went back to the store and shopped, so we saved on items for ourselves, so definitely something to think about doing yourself too not just for presents.

The ankle boots I am wearing are from Essenz and they are so sexy. They are called Brisbane, which is very hot right now being summer down under and all that. They were part of the Frozzen event that went on until the 15th of December, so I expect they will be in the mainstore now. These go with the Mid feet from Slink and are just great for wearing with pants, or a skirt such as I am wearing in this look.

I love the styling I put together today, and while that seems ego driven, I do not care, I love love love it. It is the texture to it all, the mix of leather, wool, and everything else that went into all these pieces that really makes it something I loved to style. Now there are some caveats to this look. The first being that I am of course wearing the Slink Physique body, so the pieces are not made for it.

The skirt by SySy’s fits wonderfully well, but when walking the back of the lower thighs clip….this will not happen for those not wearing a body, and SySy plans to update the skirts in the future anyway – that being said, the skirt comes with a mini version that fits perfectly, but I was feeling the pencil today instead –  so while as bloggers we do show you specific items, a lot of a bloggers plans for styling is that you may have similar items you already own, or have seen, that will work when used in similar ways.

The other one is that there is some serious side breast action going on, so if you are more modest, and I am a total prude when out and about in that area, then you can wear a bandeau top or something under it that will help with that. As I was just taking pictures it didn’t matter in this situation.

The top is from .Shi and you must join her in world group and run over there asap as she is having a huge SALE. You cannot get into the sim if you are not in the group, and the group is a pay to join one , so be aware it will cost you 200L to do so. The top is remarkable, everything Shi. does truly is it’s own fashion statement, and I love her how that works for her. Again wearing the body makes alpha options different, but this was a styling post, not so much a this is 100% wearable with whatever you use, so DEMO DEMO DEMO. The hair is also from Shi, and there are a great range of styles there to choose from.

The armwarmers are part of a dress set, but I had no interest in the dress, it was the armwarmers that were just perfect, size, style, colour texture, it all worked for me when I demod them…I will probably wear the dress eventually also, but sometimes it is little combination sets that you can purchase just knowing that pulling them apart will give you so many options of wear.

The shoes I am wearing are from Glamistry, an older style that allows you to choose from the different sections of the shoes for different detailing, based on what colour you originally purchase. They work with the Slink High feet, so be sure you have those, or use the demo of them to try so you know what you are purchasing.

The skin is from YS&YS and is still part of the My Slink Obsession event currently happening, so make sure you get over there before the 22nd is over, as all items are 50% off and during the skin comes with head and body appliers for the Slink Physique and Visage products.

I swung over to Coco last night – reason being was that I had restarted my sim The Deck, and one of the NEW features for Firestorm is that the restarting message that pops up on your screen, now has a drop down of landmarks you own, so that was a fun way to just randomly visit somewhere that I haven’t been in a while –  and there are so many great group gifts there, that if you haven’t ever been you must. It is also a great place to take new residents if you come across some in need of a make over and a helping hand in newness. The T-shirt dress and the cool sneakers are both gifts, so great staples for people on a budget.

I am wearing some wonderful Red Mint hair today, I love how she achieves her end curls on her styles, one of her hairfair ponytail styles is a firm favourite, and this one has those same lovely ends. It also has the colour change locks option, so you can colour the selected strands if you want to.

I am at Mayfair sim today, I have not been over for a long time just to enjoy the build, and decided that with my English themed boots, that it was needed. This sim is a masterpiece of work, and it took so many long months to achieve, and still holds up now a few years later as a sensational location to shop and enjoy.

I have a weakness it seems. Gacha usually doesn’t get to me, I take a spin, I get something and I am happy. If it is purple Whimsy gets it, and sometimes I take more than one spin depending on the item. I don’t much care about collecting a set of something for the home. or every plushie, pet etc. I do love that people have fun doing so, but I am just happy with what I get. If I do roll more than once, it is usually for something beneficial to me, such as bags, or skins, or hair, things that I can use in one way or another, and getting them at such a great price, is not something to pass up. I also tend to spend what I think that the item would sell for anyway, and what I would have paid, so I don’t go nuts…until Nylon made these bags for The Arcade. It is something about those two sisters, because I am equally as nutty when it comes to Polyesters rings – mind you, one does not need other peoples birthstones, so I just took a few spins got some nice stones and was done. But the bags, oh my goodness the bags.

All handpainted by Nylon, and as I have mentioned in the past, I have some of her handpainted bags, and a doona cover in RL so these were a must for me. I got all but one of the whole set, the first one in the pic, I actually managed to get 11 of the twelve without doubles, and the first spin was the rare, but then I had to play another dozen times, because by then I just wanted to try and get it, and all my friends can use bags anyway. I didn’t get it, but I am happy with what I did get, but if you do happen to have a Red Mambo spare, and need a Spring Time then give me a holler and we can swap. I am wearing the Bindi one in this picture, and everyone of them is just remarkable, she is incredibly talented…both of them are, I am also wearing a beautiful necklace from Yummy by her Sister Polyester, which is definitely the perfect necklace for a chest baring top such as this one.

The top/jacket/hoodie thing is by Eclipse, and it fit over my skirt and the Physique body, so it works a treat. I do recommend trying on all demos in the store, as I had a few rigging issues with items I had tried, so only walked out with this one. I really like the inside fabric finish and the gold and moss green mixed with the red of the skirt and the red and gold of the NEW Slink shoes Roxette, has an almost ready for Christmas feel. I generally try and stay away from green and red, but this time of the year you can let your freak flag fly.

The NEW hair by Exile that is part of C88 is a perfect style for the look, it is back from the face and shoulders on one side, and draped enough on the other that you still get to see all of the top. I also like the off centre parting of the style and the layered look to it, perfect for this weather on both sides of the world.

The skirt I chose was a no brainer, straight to typing switch in my inventory and up popped the mini – there is also a pencil skirt included – beautiful leather and just a perfect go to skirt from SySy’s. Gives you the perfect oppurtunity to show off long legs, when everyone else is bundling up, which is hard for us down here when it’s a billion degrees outside and everything is too hot to handle.

Putting together a look inpsired by the greatness that is the new Rowne hair for C88 and the fun snow ball inspired leggings by PixiCat. I kind of have a biker babe thing going on, but I am truly digging it. The hair is stunning, and I do hope they end up doing a version without the scarf, becuase the style is just wonderful. These leggings have little balls on them, making them even more adorable than just polka dot leggings would be, as they are more dimensional, there are even a floral pair that have really detailed flowers.

The stand out excited part is that Yummy did some new rings, in silver or gold, but only one stone option, but due to them being mod, I was able to tint my stone only black, and make a new ring for myself, I would love to see more options in this style as it is wonderful.

Slink recently updated their Vixen catsuit to have Physique, hands and feet appliers, so I decided to revisit it. I love this catsuit, I did a lot of pictures of it in the past. Now that it is appliers it seems even sexier. If you have it already, you can update it with a redelivery which is cool. The hair I have on is from Lamb, and part of the new C88 round, lots of amazing snow themed items, and bunnies abound, they are multiplying over there.

We don’t get these down here, I want a snow day, a day when everything is closed and everyone gets to play. It sounds delightful. Maybe I can just make it Sun Day, oh wait we have one of those already, well more than one if you count them all individually. Oh well back to the drawing board.

Collabor88 just opened tonight, and it is super packed full of awesome. The boots and leggings are superb wear for all and everything, the boots are just gorgeous, and I plan to stomp around in their wellie goodness all day. The leggings fit snuggly inside, which is a great thing when the designers take all that into account. They also fit my body, so meg bonus. I am wearing them with this amazing fur vest from Cynful that is at The Dressing Room Fusion, or TDRF for the lazy. It is very sexy, with its sheer parts, and the snuggly fur. I have to wear the medium to fit me, but again it works for the body for me, with only a few alpha options needed.

This hair is splendid, everytime Tableau Vivant releases hair these days, he is knocking it out of the park. There are two versions, one has bunnies that you can wear with it, but I have left bunny love to Ashia today, she has been squeeing all over the place, so look out for her post on InventoryEpisode.com

Now about knocking it out of the park, Yummy made more rings. Oh Joy Oh Rapture! seriously these ones are just sublime, and I am only sad that there are not a billion gem options to choose from, I would happily settle for 6, maybe 8, at least 10 would be awesome. Thankfully there is silver or gold to choose from, but honestly I am so hoping that Polyester does a bigger option of this style in the future sometime, because this style needs to be worn by all, and we need options.
