Whimsy and I decided to share the wonderful fluffy sweaters and divine leather leggings by Emery for this round of Uber. The clothing fits the Slink Physique body without any need for alterations, just the alpha options and I am ready for action. The Shoes I am wearing are from Essenz and are part of the Rock the Rack event. They are platform style but using the mid feet by Slink that makes them just perfect for dancing the night away, and the metal comes in gold or silver accents, so definitely must haves for co-ordinating with your favourite jewellery pieces or even other metal options on clothing such as buttons or zippers.

The hairstyle is by Tableau Vivant and part of Fantasy Collective event and comes with a super sexy tophat that I didn’t wear this time around, but definitely will in the future, as I love me some hathair. So with all these events on and starting up, make sure you pack a lunch and hydrate often, and have a great time exploring the grid.

Diva is the word with this lovely lacey bodysuit by Sn@tch, it comes with system layers and all the appliers this blogger needs, with them having both the underpants and the clothing layers of the Physique body covered. The highneck and long sleeves style had me straight away – but thanks to the left arm right arm toggle option on the Physique hud I was able to make it short sleeved. It was definitely the hotpants style of the lower portion made it an instant MUST HAVE item. I can see this being my new go to run around SL option for a long time. I even played around with some older flexi just for giggles to see if I could turn it into a formal affair, and teamed it up with some dress pants for a sexy business atire look.

But with the Pagan sandals from Bushu, I had to show a lot of leg and these beautiful snakeskin heels that fit the Slink high feet. Bushu is a NEW Brand and the footwear being released so far is excellent, I cannot wait for more. These especially are splendid for all kinds of fashionable combinations, from elegant to casual, because even with a pair of skinny jeans these definitely rock it as snakeskin often does.

Finishing off the look the beautiful long back from the shoulders style by Tableau Vivant that is at this months Collabor88, you don’t have that much time left to get it while the getting is good. The style also comes with a lovely crown, but this is an super sleek style that will be a firm favourite for many I am sure, and with the off the chest style of it, a definite must for those that do a lot of appliers wearing, or just for perfect product photography.

It has been a few weeks since I have done a blog post, and a lot took place. The latest UPDATE to the Slink Physique Body took place, and if you do not have 1.4 you need to get over there and redeliver it so you can have all the new features. There is a full notecard of changes included, and the new hud is a really attractive looking hud, maybe more so because we all get to look at Siddean in her undies.

One of the most saught after updates is the alpha zones now turn off front and back instead of the previous left and right. I have obviously not had as much problem finding clothing that fits with my body, as I have only worn it with everything since the release, so I was doing ok, but this new ability to hide the back definitely opened a whole lot of doors to older items. We also have a few more alpha areas at the waist/bum area, so lower pants are just perfect.

Other features are sheen and droplets, which are making use of the fantastic new abilities to control materials through scripts, that will open up a whole slew of possibilities for creators. There is even an option for clothing details that will mean designers that will want to use added options for realistic looking clothing will be able to do so with the appliers they can create for the body…I am really looking forward to seeing how that works in the future.

Alpha Mask buttons have been also added, which are a work around for the Alpha Sorting (Z fighting) that SL has issues with…giving those that want their tattoos and clothing, or underwear and clothing on different layers to actually work with the help of these additions in the HUD. To use the masks you use the mask that pertains to the upper option of wear – if wearing clothes over tattoos you would use the clothes mask, undies over tattoos, you use the undies mask – the good thing is that you can toggle to your hearts content while you work it all out.

They also added a neck join gradient patch that you wear if you are wearing the SL default head, so that you don’t see a join and you can tint it to match your own skin, this may even come in handy for those that don’t have physique appliers for the body, but find something close enough from another creator, they can tweak the in between – possibly. This time around the neck portion that you wear if you wear the slink head is a separate attachment, this could also come in handy for other heads, not sure on that though, I haven’t taken my Slink Visage off in some time, maybe I will have a play later on and let you know.

Now speaking of heads and bodies, the NEW Visage appliers by Deetalez are the ones I am wearing today, and of course the appliers for hands, feet, and body. The body parts appliers are all in the one location in the store, but the heads have their own area, to avoid confusion for those that have not seen the head light yet :P.

Laura is a stunning face, I am wearing the powder B1 package, that has thinner brows than the B2 package, I actually like them both a lot, and may go back for the other but in the glossy version. You have to pay attention to what you are doing there, as there are B1 Matte and B2 Matte, and then B1 Glossy and B2 Glossy. Then you have eyeshadow mini hud, which has a fantastic smokey eyes, and a catliner look. The main head hud has 5 brown options , one of which is no brows. Then you have freckles and moles option, clear option and an incredible beauty mark look that is very European and striking….then four lipstick options and a natural look. Between all of this it is incredible value as options, and you only have to purchase the body, hands and feet appliers once.

I was scrolling through Zaara’s MP Store and dove into my inventory to find the Sana chintz jacket – we use MP and stores Flickr as visual inventory aids – the jacket fit the body beautifully and even allowed for the wearing of the Natasha bustier underneath, I didn’t even have to go sizes up to fit them, they fit like a dream and minimal alpha needed.

I knew instantly what pants I wanted to wear with them, and I hadn’t tried these with the body yet, but they fit everywhere perfectly except the lower legs. Nothing to do but tweak my shape a little in the leg muscle area, that would have been what my legs looked like without the body anyway as the shape of the pants dictate anyway…so it was as simple as sliding down and Save As name new shape Maitreya pants and I was done.

The colours of everything once the jacket went on were just fated, the shoes by Maitreya that are at this months C88 just brought it all home. These sandals are so Maitreya’s style and just beautifully created, with the beading, the leather work, it is just very much their whole ‘look’. The stitching is phenomenal and I adore the metallic disc work that gives it that tie in to the whole theme of the month.

I wanted some ambience for my picture and grabbed a beautiful chair from Trompe Loeil, which again fated, had the perfectly colouring for my whole ensemble, it didn’t take but a moment to grab the amazing drum set that is featured in our studio by 22769 that I picked up at a past TLC event and just adore so much. I love how soft and earthy everything is, and it really helped bring out the beautiful red in my Wasabi Pills hair that was perfect for the outfit and matched my new brows splendidly.

The background I am using in this post is actually a smaller art print that I have resized and put on the wall. It actually sits at an angle smaller usually, but I just really liked it big and dominating the image. The monochromatic look of it helped with the overall theme of the look, from the wonderful toeless boots, to the marble like texture of my GOD cap/hair.

This is why options are wonderful, you get a lot of choices with the cap, to change the lettering, the colours and then of course those lovely waves of hair. The top I have on is an applier for the Physique body, and it comes also with options of 7 other great colours and is a very easy top to wear with many things, this time I chose my toeless leggings that meant I still got the toeless look of the boots, but the same sort of tight fitted stretchy look with the top.

Changing the metal choice of the gorgeous necklace to silver from gold and I am ready for a dance off, this is such a fun street dancer kind of look, and I am putty when it comes to those kinds of movies, I love them, all the dance movies that change someones life are just the best.

There are some shirts I own, shirts that I would never give up, they are my go to shirts no matter how buried they are in subfolders of subfolders of subfolders. The funny thing about the majority of them, is that they are created by the same designer. Juliette has done it again, I am seriously thinking about just making a JuJu Shirts folder to be done with the other format.

This is her latest must have shirt, with the release of this and the delightful mesh denim skirt that fits neatly underneath. They are both items at Uber, and if you haven’t been you still have much time to do so. I got mine in black, white and Chambray, and eachone has its more beautiful moments to come.

Now as you may have been noticing I do wear the Slink Body full time lately, and this is no exception, but the shirt does not fit perfectly but other than some tiny clipping at the back near the shoulders which hair covers perfectly, I am good to go. The skirt is the same, it is perfectly with the shirt, but there will be some clip through depending on your ao, and my AO’s are far from mild these days, they do all sorts of weird bendy stretchy, turning that I swear I wince in RL just seeing the inhumane way my limbs are treated. So other than that it is all win for me, because it is things I have on causing it, not the items themselves so YAY.

The gorgeous hair is by Exile, and it is just lovely, I especially like the adorable pinned back portion, that you know will just come undone at some stage, and your partner will lovingly pin it back for you … ahuh, that is what is going to happen it is true.

Now down to the footwear, Remarkable Oblivion has made add on Slink shoes, this is incredible news for all the RO fans out there. The design of these is an amazing take on the theme Odyssy… I mean what does one do with all that amazing leather work from uniforms just laying around. They work with the mid feet, but you will need the help of the shoe base included to lift you right up as they are very high platforms and just so fabulously chunky.

I resized the bolt statue from Commoner and it is so cool, it stayed really low prim even making it huge, all win, and so pretty.

Back in the olden SL Days, we used to buy gowns every other week. Some must still do so, and I am jealous of those people, the ones that have those SL Lives that mean nights filled with dancing and social gatherings. We used to have that a lot more over my side of SL, Whimsy and I often talk about it, how it just all seemed to fade away, we all got busier I guess, SL definitely got busier.

This release by Schadenfreude for Collabor88’s Birthday is a reason to break out of your day to day wear, and just find a reason to be this beautiful. The jewellery that I am wearing with it by Yummy is just perfection for the plunging neckline and the piled up hair by Lamb. I knew exactly where I wanted to take my pics in it, at Slink West’s crumbling castle build. It just seemed a perfect idea, and I really like what came of it. I hope you do too.

While the Cat is away, the Mice will play, and in this case the playing is being done by Whimsy and Myself, while the lovely SySy Chapman of SySy’s is on vacation.  The Odessa dress that we are wearing is her lovely release for the Birthday Celebrations of Collabor88 – Happy Birthday to one and all! The theme is Odyssey and this dress is perfect for that. I really love its kind of 60’s Mod style to it, and the design at the neckline had me feeling all Cadet like, Think of us as your stewardesses to the Godly skies.

The furniture featured is part of the Mud Honey release for the event, and while I tend to usually lean towards silvers this gold is just spot on, and really worked with the overall feel and mood of our picture together. While I am wearing the release Tram has done hair wise for C88 Whimsy has gone with their recent Hair Fair release, both styles just so feminine and pretty.

Whimsy’s footwear is by Essenz and part of the upcoming The Black Fashion Fair that will start very soon, and they are gorgeous Slink High Feet shoes and are an actual Gatcha item, so you can take a spin and try your luck colourswise.

I went with the Zenith shoes for C88 and they are fringetastic thong sandals also for the Slink High Feet. They have a kind of helmet shaped front and it just radiates the whole theme. This group of designers have taken a theme that could lead to a little too much in the RP side and totally nailed it in the All about the Fashion sense, as is completely in keeping with C88’s 3 year run.

It is wonderful and I had a sneak peak at a lot of other items, which you will find yourself wanting all of.  Make sure you are fleet of foot when the clock strikes 12 because you will want to get in fast.

Whimsy and I went shopping over at the event The Chapter Four, some amazing items, gatcha machines and reduced items. I like gatcha when I don’t care, it is kind of like the laziest form of shopping. I knew I liked the overall collection, so lets take a spin or two and what I get I get. One such item was this adorable dog I am calling Squeek, Whimsy is calling hers Bubbles. He is adorable and wearing him just has him follow you around and be all adorable.

The reason we ran on over was actually because of the icecream shoes by CandyDoll that are reduced for the event, so if you love all things confectionary, you need these shoes in your life, you do of course also need the High feet by Slink for them to work. I was also able to pick up this great top that in a size up from my usual, fit really well over the Tee*fy shorts from C88 for this round…the shorts I am wearing smaller than usual, so it all works well layered and over my Slink body.

Other C88 items are the sexy bangles by Mandala, the browns and golds just work perfectly with all the other creamy chocolate mixes of colour in the shot. The hair is by Moon and the high sweep of it is glorious, another The Chapter Four items, seriously you need to attend, but maybe wait a few days because it is full to the brim, and if you have any loading mesh slowly kind of issues, you may be standing around a while. Or just go in those weird hours when everyone from everywhere is sleeping.

The hairbase option on my skin is great for the hair also. This is another of the glorious YS & YS skins from MSO…you have to run over there, because you get the head applier, the body appliers, all the make ups and everything is just in two fabulous huds and head to toe you are covered and it is all half price DO NOT MISS OUT, this is Winona , a lighter skin than the one I wore yesterday.

I was channeling my inner Whimsy with my set up today, she does love to rez her bits and pieces and I have to start doing that more, rather than getting overwhelmed at the idea of full spaces. Hideki has these suitcases and the chairs as part of their The Chapter Four Gatcha items, again, nothing set out to get just a couple of spins and I got these gorgeous items. I want more, I will go back soon. The gorgeous mirror is by Pilot and was at Kustom9 as soon as you walk  in on the left it just transfixes you on sight it is beautiful and a must have. So go on and get thee to the events.

A new month and so many new things. Two new events happening this month, one is Uber and the other is My Slink Obsession. Uber is a new month long event, and has some amazing creations by amazing creators. The bag I am using in this post is by Emery and the colours and richness of the leather are fantastic…I really need Sunami to make more accessories, because she does fantastic items overall, but I love her bags and there are just not enough of them.

My Slink Obsession is an event that will take place on the Slink West sim, and all items are Slink Compatible, as is the sim itself. This event will have all new items that are made for the many Slink items as well as items such as poses that allow you to see them in their best light, such as the ones I am using for this post by Pretense.

The event is a 50% OFF event, so it is a must visit for all Slink wearers, because you won’t want to miss out on the savings. The skin I am wearing is not only for the Slink body, but also the Slink head, hands and feet. The Visage appliers are Esmerelda and the Physique appliers are tone 4 and you get so many different options. Freckles, tan lines, cleavage, and then make up and hair base options. I love this face, especially the freckled option as it gives such a stunning softness to the overall look. If you love skins definitely DEMO DEMO DEMO.

The hairbase also gives a lot of extra ooomph to the sexy as all get out style by Lelutka called Hall. It is a two part style and the ponytail portion comes in different sizes for more wiggle room. The big floppy bow on top which gives it such a sex kitten look has a texture change clickable menu, so you have three base themes, and then different prints and colours per theme.

Another MSO (My Slink Obsession) item are the fabulous capri pants by Somnia, I will be wearing these forever, they are the perfect cut, the ends are worn in such a great way, and they are physique appliers compatible, but there are also other applier options so they cover many bases, and by bases I mean bums.

It all worked so well with this gorgeous top by NYU that I had not had the chance to wear yet, and WOOOHOOO size 3 in her sizes worked perfectly over my slink body, I only had to turn on one alpha band, there may be some clipping depending on your own shape etc, and AO of course, but I love the look and it moves well and is so so pretty. The colours just came together in this post from the shoes to start actually, and I was so excited that the aged leather colours in them just had perfect matches with other items, especially the bag by Emery.

The shoes are SENSATIONAL, also another MSO item, so seriously get on over there because these at half price is just a bargain to not miss. Even at full price they are incredible. The straps the big buckle, the extreme heel, the wood, the colours, everything is just shoegasmic. They are by Lindsey Warwick, and everything she turns out is just exceptionally well made, so if you call yourself a Shoe Addict, then you better have all hers in your inventory.
