Ashia and I went on a shopping spree earlier this evening, and went to somewhere I had been telling her that we had to the last few days, when Ashia was tping to another location, I spotted a SALE sign.
Jumping over from one store to another, I found that Beetlebones was having a 50% off everything Sale until the 24th, which worked out perfectly because I was able to incorporate those buys, with the wondeful hair that is also on SALE at Tiny Bird, yes Tiny Bird and Long Awkward Poses are having a 50% off SALE to celebrate their One Year anniversary of Festivale, congrats to them both and everyone else that is on that sim 🙂 it’s a lovely place to spend time.
Beetlebones collection varies from dressy to casual, and the prices at the moment are crazy, but even if you don’t make it to the SALE the full prices are really well priced anyway.
The other week I was hanging with Justice, and she was showing me her new ankle boots from G Field, as soon as I saw them I knew I must have… they are like Maryjanes that have extras, they have the straps of a shoe, with the added benefits of a boot, with texture changes on the buckles in various metals. There are small packs as well as a fat pack greatly priced, and at the moment there are two versions in pumpkin orange that have been reduced to only 30L so you should make sure and grab those too.
I felt like wearing an older skin today, and my go to was the beautiful Poppy skin from La Sylphide, just because when I think Tiny Bird and LAP it’s not a far leap to Stephanie Misfit, plus I really love how her skins look for any occasion.

Divine Black
I am a hat fan big time, one of the things I love to do is punish myself looking all over Second Life for fabulous hats. Today I got a combination of both system skirt love, and hat adoration.
This Black Andrea set by Sissy Pessoa of Baiastice is drop dead gorgeous. The outfit just inspires beautiful thoughts of a different era, incredibly classy and elegant. I love that I want to wear it as much as possible, and I love that I want to find different ways to wear it, to utilise all of it’s design attributes.
If you remove the sculpted middle, you still have an incredibly sleek look, or you could leave it on and take off the skirt and wear dress pants, or be very naughty and just wear something underneath, like your favourite panties and stockings.
The set does actually come with stockings as shown, but to be honest, I have no idea if they are stockings or pantyhose and I don’t want to take off the skirt to let you know, because I LOVE IT so much.
The stockinged feet have been slipped into the Decollete Shoes also from Baiastice, I really like pointed toes, as I mentioned earlier today, it doesn’t matter how tight, tall and/or pointed I don’t feel a thing :P.
I am also wearing some stunning Jewelry from Baiastice , the Onyx Pools set is a silvery black mix of oversized pieces, that have a definite costume look, with a ritzy glamor. The STUNNING hat is worn atop the Enrica hair from Zero Style, which is a beautiful sleek bob that just fit perfectly underneath the hat, without any modifications needed.
The skin I am wearing is a teaser Gift from Atomic VIP , if you join the group – there is a fee – you will find it still in the archives as of this post it is still there. The skin is just lovely, there is a make up and a base look, I am wearing the base , with freckles or none, so that’s four skins that could be yours…I cannot wait to see what the make ups she does for this look like. A great way to get people panting for more.

How much fun is Second Life, you get to do what you do in RL all day/night, and then you get to climb into your monitor and be all that you can be. Ok so maybe all I do in my RL is sleep, but I still get to have as much fun as I can manage each and everyday. Whether it be just hanging around at The Deck with whoever is there, or running around the grid chasing after fabulous items that I cannot wait to wear, look at, live in.
In RL I get very agitated by the weight of things on my body, so as a kid ponchos were always adored, and I did have one that I could wear, but a lot of the times they were too heavy and I’d freak out. That’s not even a factor in SL , I can wear what I want to, how I want to, and it is all exciting and liberating.
One of the surest ways to flaunt that fact is with shoes, in SL you can wear them as high as you need, as tight, pointed, and/or innovative as you like, and if you swing towards shoes being a fetish, then these Maya Shoes by LeLutka are right up your alley.
The shoes come with four different variations, the two toned effect as shown, and a black or metal look heel. I went with the black two tone look, and spiced it up with some equally fabulous toned extra thigh high socks from Aoharu.
The Corinth Poncho also from LeLutka is all win, the size of it, the way it drapes across the body, and the beautiful knit style just works for all types of warm and snuggly, but with that definite all fashion look that LeLutka is so well known for. The oversized turtle neck is perfect, for not doing any damage to a well made up face.
The other delightful and new addition to LeLutka is both items and person, in the form of the definitely talented Marni Grut. I have shown you some of her styles in the past,under her Royal Blue brand, and she definitely has a flair for the dramatic. Congratulations on the merge Marni…cannot wait to see all the fab you add to the collections.
I grabbed a few pieces earlier, but haven’t shown them today, the other thing I wanted to point out, that many in the LeLutka group would have gotten , is the Kateys Running Through the Woods hood, that is just marvelous for all of you that have bangs as seperates from all sorts of creators. The New Eclat skins recently released came with bangs and bun/tails options for adding to the hair base skin option, the bangs from that fit perfectly under the hood, and give you a very different look that intended.
So for those of you a little wary of this kind of over the top fashion style, then you definitely have the option to add your own sense of all things beautiful.

Athenas Cup in SL
Lexi Morgan of Stellar is an incredibly giving person, that has always been my experience with her over the years, so when she lets me know she is involved with a new fundraiser, I know that she is dedicated to as much as she can do to see it a success. She has teamed up with other Designers from all over SL and they will be collaborating so to speak on this joint venture.
So make sure you keep your eyes open for Athena’s Cup in your favourite Store, and if you are a Designer yourself, and want to take part, then contact Alysha Rennahan .

Greetings!I hope this note finds you well and enjoying the season of fall in October.
I am writing to you to hopefully get you interested in joining me for a great cause that I am bringing over from RL.
I have recently started my own home business called Athena’s. If you have never heard of Athena’s, it is a home novelty company focusing primarily on women. If you have ever heard of fun “girly” party, it was probably an Athena’s party!
Currently, Athena’s has launched “The Athena’s Cup”. Our goal for the Athena’s Cup is to raise breast cancer awareness by raising $500,000 and break the Guiness Book of World Record for the most bras hooked together – 169,000!
In RL, we are asking for a suggested $5 donation and any amount of bras anyone is willing to donate. The event is running now through January 10, 2010, the day in which we will hook together all the bras we have received and hopefully break the record!

This is such a great cause that I wanted to bring it into SL and hopefully get everyone else excited to contribute.
“The SL Athena’s Cup” will focus on raising money through donated items in which 100% of proceeds will go to the Athena’s Cup in RL.
Here are the details of this SL event:
– Designers willing to participate will put up SL Athena’s Cup vendors containing their charity item in their respective locations.
– Items should center around a pink bra theme (pink for breast cancer awareness, bra for….well, duh!).
– Items should be limited edition to encourage the “come get it now before it’s gone” energy.
– Donation price is at the designers’ discretion. Some suggestions follow:
– Whatever donation price you deem is worthy of your offering. After all, you know your own stuff best!
– L$5 donation to mirror the suggested $5.00 donation of the RL event.
– L$ equivalent of the RL $5.00 donation (currently between L$1217 (for exactly $5) and L$1295 (for $5.30 with fee))– Length of time item is up and available is up to each designer, but the SL event will close on 1/1/10 to give me enough time to reconcile everything in time for the 1/10/10 event.
– An alt account has been established by me for all funds from donated items to go directly to.
– Proof of final donation will be posted on my blog: http://alyshassl.wordpress.com so that you know I’m legit and not running to Vegas with the money.
– I will get pictures of the event to post when I return for even more proof (and to show you how fun it is!).
That’s about it in a nutshell! You see how easy this is and what a great cause and fun event this will be. Your creativity is endless and your generosity is admirable. I hope that you will decide to join us.

LANd Ahoy
Two different tones in the same skin, can really change a look and a feel for the same make ups. It can change a dismal day into something really fun and joyful, or it can better reflect a more somber mood.
I often feel that way with skins, and being able to actually swap from tone to tone can really change everything about a day. I have been flat out lately, and have actually been negligent in inventory sorting, so much that it got overwhelming. I have even been running to the same folders to put on in a hurry, as a mad dash and suitable look go to, and that is very unusual for me, but one folder that kept repeating was definitely the first and second dress today.
I found myself wanting to put it on many times, just because it was pretty and made me happy with it’s swish swish. Also the fabulous Promenade boots from Kalnins ended up being the ones I most enjoyed with the dress, kind of a mix of dressy casual, that I am dressing to look like I didn’t try look, but we all know it took planning to put together lol.
Depending on what look you are going for, both the boots, which are texture change and a fabulous take on the cowboy boot, making a sexier ankle boot version, also with texture change metal features, and even glow …with the Jocelyn dress from DeLa come up a treat. Also as the dress comes in great solid colours, but also on every layer, I used the opportunity to pull out an oldie but a goodie clothing layer belt from Diversity called Adena. Clothing layer belts can be a fun way to totally change the look of something, and if they are on all layers, they are priceless.
The addition of some accessories and a fabulous hairstyle from OH , Whimsy and I went to OH last week and bought it out, I think that Fhaya Denimore better hurry up and make more, they are all delightful and really well priced, all of the hair I am wearing today is from OH..so be sure to check it out, if you haven’t already.
Now back to the divine DeLa, the Jocelyn in black with the bits and pieces is definitely a night out look, where as the Jocelyn dress in the red with the addition of the Sweater Wrap in white, also from DeLa makes it more of a casual smart day look, or maybe even an early date ending with a nice stroll along the beach – made sure I wasn’t corny enough to say promenade ;).
The next two sets by DeLa, are SEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXY.
Not just the overall looks, but also the colours, the grey I couldn’t get into fast enough in the Lita Set, now I am wearing a camisole that is a separate item with this today, only because due to all different skins and how people make them, there is a slight showing of nipple in this skin/set combo, it is not that way for all but it is something you do need to take into account, as do the designers creators. It was also the tiniest sliver but I don’t show, so it was not something I could just let slide without letting you know.
But because of this, I was able to do a less naughty look, but in my opinion just as, if not more sexy. The Legwarmers come with the Lita set, and they are just fabulous too, I can see wearing those with many things, and maybe if we are lucky Kura will box them up separately or something similar in the future, because with the upcoming cooler weather for many, these are just all sorts of fun.
The other set in that killer sexy red, is the Lisa set , and just YUM, the colours this set comes in are just marvelous. Strapless and provocative, with the added half sleeves, and those slouchy thigh highs, all too yummy. Because of the way it is built as well, you could so totally mix and match colours from one set to another, and make your own fabulous combination’s.
The skin I am wearing with these looks is all by Fishy Strawberry, and the skin is LAN in the Latte and Cappuccino tones. They are not so far apart tone wise, but the overall effect of them is so different I had to show both this way. The make ups are just lovely, not overly done, yet with a really nice selection of both eyes and lips, as well as hairbases in light and dark, and just because she could, Fae has added hair to be worn with the bases , in the packs.

Rocker Chic
As I said earlier, I already had taken a pic that I wanted to post on, but got carried away with the vintage love. Earlier than the Ingenue spree Whimsy , Gary, Justice and I hit up some other stores. I ended up getting my rock chick on , and it was all tude from there.
I ended up combining what is a sexy Glitter Shirt mini dress, with an incredible glittery sheen to it, over some hardcrash leggings, both are items from Aoharu as that is where we ended up, Whimsy wanting Gary to get a matching coat to one of hers, and us realising that Justice hadn’t shopped there enough in the past.
The cut and sliced leggings instantly made me think of the Buckle wedge boots from Anexx , these ankle boots are just fab, the style and shape is wonderful and the open fronts just make them a fabulous addition to the look, they have prim feet/toes so you will have to play with the colouring, but they have made it easier… not only giving you preset colours, but now also an editable tint ball, to make it much better.
Adding some gloves from 5th and Oxford, and some Jewelry from DeLa, with the addition of a New hairstyle from Magika, named Willow all I needed was a tour bus and I would be well on my way to rocker stardom. The Mia Doll skin from Idiosyncrasy is definitely versatile, and the pale complexion is perfect for those that spend all of their time asleep during the day, and howl at the moon all night.
The poses I am using in these pics are from the Bytch AO from Red Queen, their Ao’s are fantastic to slow animations on and shoot to your hearts content.

Pin Up Doll
I do share well with others, so much so that I am not keeping these yummies to myself for any longer. I had actually started writing my post for this morning, when I got sidetracked, which isn’t too difficult with our lot. We can be very motivating for eachother, but also very very naughty at dangling tempting tidbits in front of each other too.
As I am no longer working – hugs Onyx tight because I already miss her bunches – that’s not such a bad thing, as usually I would be sleeping about now. But I got to spend some awesome time with Justice, Whimsy, Gary and Ashia tonight instead. Yes ok I said morning and night all in the same time, but it is coming up to both yours and mine.
Lately as I mentioned before I think, Ashia has been on a retro kick, and I am never off mine, but we do run around in all sorts of looks, and this one for her at the moment has stuck big time, taking us over to Jetdoll for their sale, we ended up doing a quick runaround town, and ended up in Ingenue, which I was all up in the other week with the Harlow release.
We did the hair thing, all three of us, and then we went nuts in the clothing section. I knew what I wanted desperately I just had to find it, as I had seen it on a girl recently and got sidetracked by Harlow the last time in the store, you see many many moons ago I had a desperate need for a pencil skirt with a Bustle, I am talking way back in 2007 , I even begged Sachi to make me one, and even tried taking things from other sets and putting them all together. But no need to do that anymore, and I am stoked.
All three sets I bought are just divine, lending themselves to all sorts of possibilities, especially as the high waist option is a separate layer, so you can wear it with other tops from other sets, or stores. One boy is the top set, giving you two incredible skirt options, the fuller flexi skirt is just so heavenly, you really do feel like you have been transported back in time.
Paris Lullaby is a lovely pink lovers set, and is the one that provides me with my pencil bustle look I have wanted forever, so now I am able to merge that skirt with endless looks, and I am in love. Lastly there is Natalie, another highwaisted gem, the sheer blouse comes with an under layer bustier in offwhite so as not to show more than you want.
All of these items were stunning additions for the delightful canvas that is the Mia Doll skin by Idiosyncrasy, this new skin comes in a porcelain like tone, with vivid make ups and a delicate face. The Doll series was a past release from Idiosyncrasy on her all hand drawn skins, but she has now taken those attributes and created a skin in keeping with her newer releases.
The smokey eyes definitely enhance the vintage look, and the rosebud lips just add even more spice to the look. Make sure you try on all the DEMOS you can, and look out for more of the upcoming Mia skin range.
The shoes are the most recentish release from Tesla and they are the Vixen Desire heels, with 6 inches of height to add more to your statuesque silhouette.
The fabulous Poses are all from DARE, a mix of poses from most of the sets at the store, they really do inspire such creative looks.

Leo Lover
Slipping into something sexy is an everyday opportunity in Second Life. There isn’t much that can beat New skin and lingerie, and there definitely isn’t much that can top my addiction to all things Leo.
One of the first items I ever purchased at Artilleri was the Leo Bikini, as previous posts have stated I even benefitted financially from the purchase, due to the old time ‘Best in ” type club events back in 2006. I promise I spent it all again at Artilleri and then some over the years. When grabbing a Bikini it is often my first choice, even though I have hundreds, there is something about it that for me was the true essence of Rock a billy love , and the ability to wear that look as much as I wanted here in SL.
The last week or two Ashia has been rocking her retro out, and looking fantastic doing so, so much so that we had to all venture over to Artilleri for refills. Am I glad we did, because I was aghast that there was a Leo release that somehow or other I missed, I was making all sorts of put out noises while I pressed the buy button faster than the first “WHAT THE”.
Not only is the dress in my always loving Leo print, but it is strapless and OMG A SYSTEM SKIRT dress. Yes you know me, I have the System Skirt love all over the place. The wrap around look of this dress is just gorgeous, and it does also come in a beautiful Zebra print, but it is Leo love for me. Also the hair rose by Essentia that I am wearing, was made for me based on the original Leo bikini, just so I could be all matchy matchy.
The hair I am wearing is also from Artilleri, I recently went a round a bout way of asking Antonia if she could delight us with more hair, but alas not at the moment, and just to not traumatise people with hair they can’t have I didn’t wear my older loved styles.
The skins are the latest release from Dutch Touch, the River skins share some of the same make ups as previously released with Cleo, but for those that Cleo didn’t work with get another chance for these divine blendings of shadow and liner. They also have a wonderful cleavage enhancement option, as well as brows, lashes and down there non shaved clothing layers, because the skins themselves are SHAVED for the win. Seriously the jeans I have on right now, it’s lucky they are.
The River skins like all the Dutch Touch skins can easily become your all in one look, they give you the opportunity to really define the character in your own shape.
Being able to show off the body in Dutch Touch’s newish line of Lingerie was a great change. These three sets are a wonderful merge of retro and athletic, the cross back and shapely panties, are all lovely, in colours that will delight the die hard Dutch Touch fans. All hand drawn and all delightful.

Everything new takes time, and a lot of hard work. One of the craziest of tasks in Second Life is a rebuild. There is so much more involved than just plonking down a new structure, but making sure that all your vendors are placed against the walls properly, that they even fit in each section, and OMGoodness do they look good against the new sleek build.
So many things change, and during all of that you’re possibly even planning new releases. That is the case of LeLutka for the last few months, they have been diligently planning a major rebuild, and I cannot wait until tomorrow to see it.
With this unveiling of build, comes the revealing of the Eclat skins, a New line of not only a fabulous face, but a huge array of options. One of which is of course why I win :P, yes the Eclat skin comes SHAVEDDDDDDDDDD woohooo. So now for those of you that love your LeLutka skins, but have had to be careful with how low your clothing can go , now you do not need to despair any longer.
Other fabulous options, are freckles, dark brows, light brows, dark and light hair bases and on separate layers, not one, not two but THREE cleavage volumizers. The three options give you slight variations on how delectable your cleavage can look, as it will always depend on what you are wearing as to what option is used, if you are wearing a tight knit that has a low cleavage, well then option one would be enough, but if wearing some latex or a wired bra top, then you are going to want to perhaps go with three.
The new Eclat skins are just lovely, full lips, and dramatic eyes, with a heavier brow than in the past…which I like in skins such as these for added character. The stomach is soft but tight, and will look great in all sorts of revealing clothing. You will have to make sure that as soon as the doors reopen for LeLutka tomorrow that you are ready to DEMO DEMO DEMO.
All the clothing I am wearing is also from LeLutka, and I have to admit it has baffled me for a bit how I was going to show Ontibile the last pictures dress. I don’t show, and as this is a dress that makes it hard not too, I was leaving it for inspiration. Well that came today, with the mixing of the black and the white dress , taking off the sleeves, and adding a corset under layer from Insolence.
Definitely inspired by the Neyya shoes from Maitreya, when putting these together I was so wanting a heel toe cap look, and not only did that happen, but I also got grey/black which I love and actually cheated for a full day before they were released by wearing them at home – I rarely do that , so it made me feel very naughty lol.
I love the combination of the two dresses, and there are so many things you can do to achieve this look yourself, even without having a second dress.
The stomper boots from The Abyss are my fav at the moment, clomping around in them all week has been my joy. I have had the baby pink since the beginning of the year when the Aria full avatar was released, but I noticed recently that the boots were sold separately in all sorts of fabulous colours, and the price is insanely bargainish.
So while you are waiting for the re-opening, spin by the other stores mentioned, and get everything else lol.

Cruising around for the day with Whimsy Winx and Dot Lane, hair was the first agenda, which then moved to pants,and more and more hair. We ended up tping all over the place, some crashes, and Whimsy almost getting sent home for lagging into the wrong part of a sim lol.
We were discussing the changes to the Silent sim over the past two years, and I was baffled by Kyoots small store no, curious about what else was here we actually looked past the inside of the store, and realised that the ground level is a beautiful coastal setting with Shag main store there, I hadn’t been to Shag since hair fair booth, but I was catching up today.
Moral of the story is go outside the landing points. There is often so much more to see only a hop, skip and jump away – or if you are Sofia, a spin, twist and twirl HAPPY REZDAYYYYYY. I love this vintage inspired look , the Hat/Hair is awesome and has texture change menu, the jacket had to get another wear, this time with the vest that comes with. When the pants were released I ran right over and got tpd away for work stuff after only grabbing one pair, the diamond pattern ones, but went back today as I re fell for the stripes.
